Jason felt a tremor go through his heart when he heard this and he wrapped his hand around his youngest wife with a grin and pulled her close.
"I'll miss you too, babe. Don't worry, I'll be back before you know it."
Riyala pressed her face into Jason's neck and nodded, and Jason smiled as Hesabeth and Gina both hugged him as well. The girls were acting extra needy today, and Jason didn't mind at all. This was just motivation for him to come back as soon as possible.
But none of them knew that this would be the last time they would be able to enjoy a peaceful moment together for a long time. Although Jason already knew about the Celestial that would soon be unleashed, he had no idea just how soon that monster would arrive, and very soon, the peaceful era that had lasted for so long across the Primordial Expanse would be coming to an end.
