The superhuman population in America was handled very differently from how they were handled in the rest of the world. Most major countries treated their superhumans as soldiers, and there were some that separated their superhumans from regular humans. But the one thing that the other countries had in common was that the president took care of both the humans and the superhumans. In America, Ronald left the running of the superhuman world to the head of the SMD and the Chief Commander of the Enforcers, so Jason knew he wouldn't even need to talk to Ronald at all to make things work in America.
If Ronald wanted to have his moment in the spotlight, Jason would allow him to have it, but Jason wouldn't allow him to think that he had special privileges just because he was the president of Jason's country.
