No one wanted to touch the family of a man who was said to be stronger than the Primordials. But that same negligence might've been a mistake on their part, because not only did the American government not know the full extent of Jason's power, but the fact that Jason had gotten so strong in such a short time prevented them from being able to control him! As far as the Chief Commander was concerned, Jason was an anomaly that no one would've been able to control!
There were some other leaders who also voiced their displeasure, but they were shut down as Cerci finally spoke for the first time since appearing here.
