Crash.
The moment Thor charged into the coffee shop, the entire doorway and frame splintered apart as if hit by a guided missile.
"Loki!" In the thick dust, Thor grabbed his brother by the collar and hoisted him up. "Go back with me! You're going to face judgment!"
"You should know, that's impossible," Loki said, his lips cracked, revealing a knowing smile. "You dumb ass."
What?
Thor's eyes widened. As he stared in disbelief, Loki's body rapidly began to swell. Reaching some limit, he exploded with a "boom" like fireworks.
The massive force sent Thor flying backward, crashing through several buildings behind him.
"Damn it, it was a fake?"
Seeing this, Deadpool suddenly felt fortunate. Lucky for him, this idiot thunder god had cleared the path.
"Loki! You bastard!" Thor, tricked, rose from the rubble, his face full of fury. Luckily, he was tough, and the impact had barely harmed him.
"That's why I said you're a dumb ass," Loki's figure appeared behind Thor, chuckling softly. "You couldn't even see through such a simple illusion."
"Loki!" Thor turned quickly, trying to attack his brother, but Loki was faster. His staff, like a curved blade, stabbed Thor's abdomen.
Hum.
The light blue crystal embedded in the staff suddenly burst, again flinging Thor away. He soared high before crashing hard to the ground, collapsing like a rag doll.
"Whoa!" Deadpool whistled and shouted, "That looked painful, buddy!"
Thump.
Having ambushed and taken down his brother, Loki was clearly smug. He strolled over to Thor and stepped on his back. "Now tell me, who's the pathetic one? Why would an idiot like you be the heir, damn it!"
"Loki..."
"Oh, oh, oh, don't speak now. I don't want to hear you, got it?"
Loki thrust his staff down at Thor again. As the crystal burst, Thor let out a shrill scream. "Yeah, just like that. You just need to cry out, that's perfect."
Thump.
Loki's smug expression didn't last. Thor suddenly grabbed his ankle and yanked hard backward, sending Loki tumbling to the ground.
"Loki!" Thor, his face red, pinned his brother down, furious. "Your damn pranks need to stop!"
"Pranks?" Loki's temper flared, and he shot back, "You think this is just a prank? No, this is my anger and resistance! You have no idea who you've provoked, Thor! You're going to die, this planet..."
"Hey, sorry to interrupt your passionate reunion, brothers," a cheeky voice suddenly cut in before Loki could finish. "But honestly, I'm really in a hurry right now."
Thor and Loki froze, turning their gazes to the source of the voice. There stood a man in a red and black suit, striking a flamboyant pose with one hand, holding Loki's staff.
"Bastard, who are you?" Loki's expression changed, and he shouted, "Give it back!"
"Oh, you mean this?" Deadpool pointed to the staff in his hand and tilted his head. "I found this by the roadside. Is it yours? But it doesn't look like it. Are you sure it's yours?"
"Of course it's mine!" Loki struggled and pushed off his brother. "Take your dirty hands off!"
"No, no, no, I don't think it looks like yours," Deadpool shook his head and put the staff behind his back. "Why don't you make a sound and see if it answers you?"
"Very well, human!" Loki's eyes blazed, and he raised his arms. "You asked for it!" Raising his arms, a ball of blue light shot out.
This was the power of his Frost Giant bloodline. Any creature hit by the blue light would freeze and lose its life.
Loki had rarely used this power in front of others since he obtained it. But this time was an exception; he was genuinely infuriated by this trashy Deadpool.
Whoosh.
Just as the blue light was about to hit Deadpool, he twisted his body, narrowly dodging the attack.
Crack.
The blue light grazed him and hit the wall behind him, covering it with a layer of crystal-clear ice.
"Oh my, that was close," Deadpool blinked and said playfully, "Almost got me. Really close! How about you try again?"
"Vile human!" Loki roared, charging at Deadpool recklessly. At the same time, his body began to glow with a clear blue aura.
However, just as he was about to reach Deadpool, the latter suddenly vanished. Before Loki could react, a long knife was instantly plunged into his abdomen.
Gulp.
Loki froze, stunned for a few seconds before collapsing to the ground with a "thump."
"Oh, hey!" Deadpool, holding the knife, tilted his head and asked, "Is it that dramatic, buddy? I only stabbed your waist, at most it'll make you unable to perform... Your spirit shouldn't be this fragile, right?"
Bang. Just as Deadpool finished speaking, a brute force sent him flying.
"Loki!" Thor embraced his brother, his face filled with grief. "Are you okay, Loki!"
"Oh, I feel so cold," Loki slowly opened his eyes and said weakly, "I can feel my life fading. I'm not ready! Avenge me, please avenge me..." His eyes rolled back, and his body went limp.
"No, Loki!" Thor roared in grief and hatred, his gaze fixed on Deadpool. "Murderer, you damn murderer! How dare you kill a member of our Asgardian royal family? Do you realize you'll be torn to shreds?"
"You're a fucking idiot!" Deadpool didn't bother with pleasantries and just started cursing. "Uncle couldn't take it anymore. Uncle is going to stuff your head up your butt today! No one can stop me, no one!"
