Chapter 203 - CHAPTER 196 – OUR MANGA

That day, Akira became the talk of the entire school. The whole school, without exception, knew that Akira had a harem — all thanks to Nemesis. It wasn't that Akira minded everyone knowing, but the reason he hadn't said anything was because it was his private life and he didn't have to go around talking about his private life. Besides, even if it became known, it didn't really matter. The only annoying part was that everyone would stare at you and talk behind your back… The good thing was that eventually people would get bored and leave him alone. No matter how big the scandal, people always end up getting tired of it. It was just a matter of waiting a few days.

Soon, school ended and our heroes quickly left. Today they were going to spend a fun afternoon playing games, eating, and watching movies — but not before doing their homework first. To tell the truth, this was their daily routine. Sometimes they went shopping, went to Mikan's house, or simply took walks while enjoying each other's company. But today was Monday and they felt lazy about going out, so they decided to stay home and enjoy a quiet afternoon eating, drinking, and enjoying a good movie, video games, etc.

Even though Akira also wanted to have fun, he first had to go deliver the manga with Kari. In the end, both decided to send only some sketches, a draft, and a pilot chapter. Neither of them really knew if they should send that or their fully drawn and written volume, so they consulted the internet and that's what they found.

As soon as they got home and rested for a while, Kari arrived and they both went to deliver — or rather, submit — their manga idea to the publisher. They could have sent it to many publishers like all mangakas do, but Akira knew perfectly well that no publisher that knew what they were doing would reject Dragon Ball and Digimon. Both were great stories with deep backgrounds, and even though Kari's story was still developing, if she came up with ideas similar to those the creators of Digimon had in their previous world… Digimon would be a worldwide success. Not at Dragon Ball's level, but still at a very good level.

With that said, Akira convinced Kari to send it to only one publisher. In this world, there were no publishers like Shonen Jump or those other famous ones from their world, but there was Shouhou — the most famous manga publisher in this world, the equivalent of Shonen Jump. Shouhou always published the most interesting and popular mangas, so they decided to send their works there.

"Alright, I think this is enough," Akira said.

They both went to Shouhou's website and submitted their respective mangas. They sent both as a single file, as if they were both the authors of the two mangas. Why? Kari thought it was very romantic — a couple of mangakas writing together in the afternoons, flirting, giving each other ideas, helping each other improve… Kari simply found it romantic, and since Akira can't refuse any of his girls' requests, he went along with it. It wasn't that Kari was the author of Dragon Ball or vice versa, but they decided to help each other. They would give each other ideas, help with each other's dialogues, and so on. Akira didn't want to do it, but Kari insisted so much that in the end he had no choice but to accept. Anyway, there was nothing wrong with publishing both stories with their names on each one, making it clear that both were authors.

As for their pseudonyms, they decided to use Akira K. and Hikari K. Very simple pseudonyms that, although they carried their names, no one would ever be able to figure out their identities. As for the K, it was Kari's idea. She said that way people would think they were a couple of mangakas, boyfriend and girlfriend, in short. Although Akira didn't tell her that people might also think they were family, she would find that out herself.

With all the contact information in their respective manuscripts, they both submitted them.

"Done. Now we wait," Akira said.

"I read that they can contact you even within a week if the manga interests them," Kari said.

"That's for normal mangas. I assure you ours are not ordinary mangas," Akira said.

"Are you saying they'll contact us soon?" Kari asked.

"Yes," Akira nodded.

Akira knew it well. Both mangas were incredible, so they wouldn't take long to contact them. They would probably even receive a call tomorrow. By the way, it should be said that the girls got hooked reading one of the copies that Akira and Kari gave them of the mangas that same afternoon. In short, the house was silent for more than two hours, and what happened afterward was an incredible amount of praise and questions about the story.

That same afternoon at Shouhou's offices…

A young woman, about 20 years old, was sitting in front of the computer, reviewing the new manuscripts that had arrived on the website. Her name was Mizuki Ayanagi. Mizuki was a manga enthusiast. She always had been, which is why she got a job here. Well, at first she wanted to be a mangaka and succeed, but it wasn't possible. Her stories had good premises, but she didn't know how to develop them or draw. Finding an artist wasn't a problem. The problem was that Mizuki was incapable of developing them properly, so after many attempts, she gave up on making mangas. However, she didn't give up and decided to become an editor. She studied very hard and had the luck to become an editor at the famous Shouhou publishing house, but… her career wasn't going very well. She didn't know if it was bad luck or not, but she had been at this company for two years and still hadn't found an interesting story that she could be the editor for. They were all very common and cliché, and she didn't think any of them could succeed in such a competitive world.

Mizuki was hardworking, very professional in her job, and always did overtime with the intention of finding some interesting story that would finally make her succeed. But she hadn't achieved anything until now. Although she was somewhat demotivated after so much time, she didn't give up and persevered.

That night, the beautiful Mizuki — a beauty with straight hair down to her waist, brown eyes, and thin glasses that made her look like a supermodel — was sitting in front of the computer, as always reviewing the website in search of something interesting. Today she was feeling down, a bit low, so she didn't expect to find anything, until…

"Hmm?" Mizuki said.

She saw something strange among all the stories.

"Akira and Kari? Two authors for one story? Interesting," Mizuki said.

It was rare to see something like that. The most common was one author per story, not two, so she clicked out of curiosity.

"But this isn't one story, it's two, both written by those people," Mizuki said, amazed.

She had never seen anything like it, and in theory you couldn't send two stories in the same PDF. Still, her curiosity made her read both stories. She didn't expect to find anything, but since it was the first time she had seen something like this, she decided to take a look and not discard them.

"Dragon Ball and Digimon… I'm not too convinced by the names, but anyway…" Mizuki sighed.

Without much enthusiasm, she began to read and soon realized how wrong she was. As she read, she became more immersed in the story, until, without realizing it, she had already read both one-shots.

"Oh my god, I've hit the jackpot, finally, hahaha!" Mizuki said.

Why that reaction? Both stories were the best she had read in years! Everything about them was interesting: the premise, the background story, the characters… there wasn't a single bad thing! Well, the art in one of them wasn't anything special, but the solution to that couldn't be easier!

"I have to call before anyone else sees this. I can't let those old guys see it or they'll take it from me!" Mizuki said.

Those stories were gems and both authors were absolute geniuses! She couldn't let anyone discover the existence of both stories or they would be taken from her! With that said, she downloaded the PDF with both stories, deleted them from the website, and took them home with her. Reading had made time fly and it was already very late — an inappropriate hour to call anyone. So she decided to call them first thing in the morning. After all, they had left two phone numbers in the manuscripts, probably both of their phones, so there wouldn't be any problem.

The only bad thing was that they were minors. The girl seemed to be 11 years old and the boy not much older, 15… that was the only bad thing. Nevertheless, she would meet with them first and then, depending on what happened, she would talk to their parents about the money, contracts, and such.

The good thing was also their age. An 11-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy had written the best stories she had ever read! An 11-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy! How could they be so young and yet so good?

"If only I had had half their talent…" Mizuki sighed.

But that no longer mattered. The important thing was to contact both of them early in the morning and arrange a meeting for the same day. The address they had written was, obviously, two different ones, but both were quite close to each other. Unfortunately, her company was quite far from their residences, but that wasn't a problem. She would simply drive there.

"Today I'm going to celebrate. I'm going to buy myself a good meal!" Mizuki said happily.

She was certain that those stories would succeed, so she decided to treat herself to a small feast and buy a delicious meal. The good thing was that she hated alcohol and didn't smoke, so she didn't need any of that to have a good time.

With that said, Mizuki happily went to the supermarket before returning home to buy her dinner — a well-deserved dinner.

The next morning.

Akira woke up that morning quite tired. Yesterday he had had a threesome with Nemesis and Lala and he was falling asleep. With Lala he had been able to go all the way, but Nemesis was simply insatiable and he had lost the battle. Technically it had been Lala's turn, but Nemesis had asked Lala if they could have a threesome and Lala had agreed without hesitation. In fact, Lala didn't mind having threesomes when it was her turn, so she generally had threesomes with Lala and Momo, or Lala and Yami, and even Lala and Kari or Mikan. Of course this was before night fell, but it had happened.

This morning, as if yesterday hadn't been enough, he woke up with a double blowjob from Lala and Nemesis that made him cum like 3 times before they left him alone. So between yesterday's exhausting sex, not having slept much, and three double blowjobs today… it wasn't the best day for Akira. Yes, waking up with a double blowjob and getting up tired from having had a threesome with two beautiful women wasn't something he should be complaining about. The problem was that if Nemesis kept having threesomes… he simply wouldn't be able to handle it. Nemesis was insatiable and her stamina far surpassed his. At this rate, his pelvis would break!

With that said, after having breakfast and cuddling a bit with Nana, Yami, and the others, they all headed to school. As usual, Haruka was waiting outside to accompany them, so they all went together. Now Akira was engrossed in a conversation with Haruka. Haruka saw that today Akira looked a bit pale and tired, with dark circles under his eyes, so she decided to ask him. Since they were now friends, Akira told her the truth. Haruka listened to Akira seriously, but when she learned the reason for his tiredness, her heart ached slightly — and not because of Lala. Her growing feelings for Akira had made hearing him talk about being with other women make her feel jealous. Even yesterday she had wished she had been included in Akira's harem. In other words, they had even said that Momioka, Mio, and Yui — who weren't part of his harem — were his girlfriends. Why not her? The answer was clear, but she couldn't help feeling envy. She had also wanted to be part of that rumor.

Just as Haruka was reflecting on her strange jealousy, Akira received a call that he didn't hesitate to answer.
