I've been thinking about becoming a mangaka… or something along those lines.
In this world, the manga industry has some interesting stories, but there's nothing that truly compares to anime like Dragon Ball, One Piece, and the like. That's why I thought… why not write them myself?
Of course, I've watched far more anime than just To Love-Ru. That was simply one manga I read a long time ago, but not the only one. I've also watched other great series like Dragon Ball, Pokémon, One Piece, and even Doraemon when I was a kid. All of those were incredibly popular in my world—not just in their country of origin, but worldwide. There wasn't a single person who didn't recognize the name "Goku," whether they knew who he actually was or not.
Anyway, as I was saying, the manga industry in this world doesn't have a masterpiece on the level of Dragon Ball. So I decided to "borrow" the work of the great Akira Toriyama—may he rest in peace—and publish it here.
Sure, I might end up taking the credit… but at least I'll be bringing his work to another world so people here can experience it. In a way, it's my way of carrying his legacy across worlds.
That said, while I might not remember anime like One Piece perfectly, Dragon Ball was one of my all-time favorites. I remember the entire story—from the original Dragon Ball, through Dragon Ball Z, GT, and even Super. Unfortunately, I only made it as far as the Super Hero arc before I died, so I don't know what happens after that. Still, there's a long way to go before reaching that point.
Because of that, without anyone knowing, I've been writing Dragon Ball in novel form.
But there's one problem.
Drawing isn't exactly my strong suit.
It's not that I'm terrible, but I definitely couldn't handle something as complex as a full manga. So I started practicing in my free time—especially at night. And since I wasn't completely hopeless at drawing, I think that, at this point, I can manage something decent. If not… I'll just hire an artist.
Still, for now, I think I can handle it myself.
{Note: It's not like I have some special talent, but I was already decent at drawing, so it makes sense that someone who isn't bad to begin with could improve with practice. Also, I've been thinking about the editor idea for a while, and I came up with a perfect candidate… though I'm still unsure whether to include her or not. By the time you're reading this chapter, she won't have appeared yet, so I'll just drop her name and let you decide. Her name is Eriri. I think descriptions are unnecessary at this point—you all know who she is and what she draws. That said, don't get your hopes up. I'm not planning to start mixing anime worlds or follow that series' storyline. If I include her, I won't waste time adapting that anime's plot—mainly because I haven't watched it. Everything I know about it comes from fanfics. Still, that's enough for me to understand the heroines—Eriri, Utaha, Kato… I know who they are and what they're like. So I'll say this, but I'll repeat it again: I'm not going to follow that anime's story. I'll just take the girls if the plot requires it. So don't expect any world-mixing—I have no intention of doing that.}
Some people might be wondering:
"How the hell did you improve so much in such a short time? That's impossible for a normal person."
If anyone said that to me, I'd tell them they're wrong.
Because I'm not normal.
I have something that sets me apart—the Omnitrix.
There's no alien in it that can magically make me draw better… but there is one that can do things at insane speed.
That's right—XLR8.
Thanks to his incredible speed, I managed to improve at a ridiculous rate.
I got the idea one day while finishing the first Dragon Ball arc. I thought to myself:
"Don't I have an alien that could speed up the writing process?"
I already had everything in my head—I just needed to put it into words.
So I tried it.
The result… was that the paper caught fire from friction, and my pen snapped in half.
After that little incident, I realized something.
Why the hell was I writing by hand when I had a computer?
So I sat down and started transferring my manuscript to digital format.
The result?
Better than expected.
I managed to type out half of Dragon Ball in just two hours.
And the only reason it took that long was because I got distracted thinking about details I had forgotten—adding new ones, refining certain dialogues, and even planting hints for when Dragon Ball Z eventually comes out.
Gotta give the YouTubers something to work with.
How am I so sure it'll succeed?
No proof.
No doubt.
That said, thanks to XLR8's speed—and the fact that I wasn't completely hopeless at drawing to begin with—it only took me a couple of weeks to refine my skills to a pretty solid level.
At that point, I could draw fairly well even in my human form.
But… why would I do that when I have XLR8?
Naturally, I used him.
The result?
The paper caught fire again.
It took a lot of attempts, but eventually I managed to reduce my speed just enough to avoid setting everything on fire.
And even then, my speed would make any professional mangaka pass out.
{Note: Time to teach Rito and Mikan's father a lesson. Think you're good at drawing manga? Let's see how you stack up against Dragon Ball.}
After countless attempts—and a ridiculous number of wasted sheets of paper—I finally had half of the Dragon Ball manga completed.
So I decided I'd be sending it to a publisher soon.
Not all of it, obviously.
Just enough chapters to leave them wanting more.
But setting that aside…
It was finally time for my short date with Mikado.
A date arranged with a very clear purpose.
Sex.
But thanks to my intervention, we'd at least have dinner first—so it wouldn't feel like I was sleeping with a prostitute, but with my girlfriend.
After getting dressed and saying goodbye to all the girls, I headed to the agreed location—a restaurant a bit far from my house, but elegant. The perfect place to invite someone as stunning as Mikado.
Since I had plenty of time, for once, I walked at a relaxed pace.
Still, when I arrived—five minutes early—Mikado was already there, waiting near the entrance.
"Sorry to keep you waiting. If I'd known, I would've come earlier," I said apologetically.
To be honest, I wasn't late at all.
But somehow… it still felt like I was.
Just how early had she arrived?
"It's fine. I actually came early because I had a few errands in the area," Mikado said with a gentle smile.
She looked absolutely breathtaking.
The kind of beauty that made people turn their heads without even realizing it.
She wore an ivory silk blouse—so soft it seemed to glide with every movement. The fabric caught the light delicately, enhancing the pale skin of her shoulders and giving her an almost ethereal glow.
It was paired with a dark blue pencil skirt, fitted just enough to highlight her curves without being overly formal. Every step she took made the fabric sway with a confident, almost hypnotic rhythm.
Over it, she wore a light pearl-gray cropped jacket, left open—striking the perfect balance between professional and relaxed.
Her black heels—moderate, nothing excessive—clicked softly against the pavement, steady and elegant. Her hair was down, falling in gentle waves that framed her face with what looked like effortless natural beauty… though it was probably anything but accidental.
A pair of subtle silver earrings caught the light whenever she turned her head.
{Note: Since the author is absolute garbage when it comes to matching outfits and choosing clothes that enhance each heroine's beauty, all outfit descriptions will be handled by ChatGPT or Gemini depending on my mood.}
Discreetly, men all around were staring at her.
Some stood still.
Others glanced as they walked by.
And a few unlucky ones got caught staring while walking alongside their girlfriends—resulting in a wave of jealous pinches to their waists.
But honestly…
Could anyone not look at her?
Mikado was the kind of beauty you rarely see—the kind that makes you desire her from the depths of your soul.
If any student from the academy saw her like this, they'd probably start drooling like animals in heat.
"So? How do I look? Do you like my outfit?" she asked.
She had spent the entire week choosing it—even going to a store to try on different clothes. It took her several days to find something she truly liked.
And this… was the result.
"You look absolutely stunning. I'm lucky to have you as my girlfriend," I said sincerely.
"Hehe… I bet you say that to all your other girlfriends," Mikado replied with a soft laugh.
"Ahem… shall we go in?" I said, quickly changing the subject.
Of course I say that to all of them.
But tonight… is her night.
I offered her my arm, and she gently linked hers with mine.
That alone sparked envy in dozens of men.
A young guy walking arm in arm with a breathtakingly beautiful, mature woman.
Could someone really be any luckier?
Akira and Mikado entered the restaurant, and after confirming their reservation, a waiter guided them to their table—though not without sneaking a couple of glances at Mikado.
Even someone used to seeing all kinds of women—beautiful or otherwise—couldn't help but stare.
Her beauty surpassed every woman he had ever served.
Even the most stunning models he had seen didn't compare.
How could someone like her even exist?
It was unbelievable.
Just seeing her alone had made his entire shift worth it.
But… why did all men feel so naturally drawn to her?
Yes, she was beautiful—there was no denying that.
But it also had to do with her race.
While they didn't possess the overwhelming allure of the Charms—not even close—all women of her kind were naturally beautiful, effortlessly drawing attention wherever they went.
Combined with her outfit, it was no surprise that everyone—men and even women—couldn't help but look.
Some with desire.
Others… not so much.
Even women who weren't attracted to other women found themselves momentarily captivated.
That's how strong her appeal was.
{Note: I think you can now better understand what would happen if normal humans saw a Charm—especially Sephie, who is a mutation. That's why she has to wear a veil. Otherwise, men and women alike would throw themselves at her like starving dogs. And yes, in this fic there's no gender distinction in that sense—but that doesn't mean all Charms have that effect. This "ability," so to speak, is exclusive to Sephie—a mutation within her race. Also, her charm doesn't affect her family or people with strong willpower like Gid or Nemesis. We'll see how I handle the rest. Don't worry—there won't be any yuri or anything like that, and it's not like girls instantly become lesbians just by seeing her. That's not how it works. Seeing her ignites desire in both men and women, but once they stop looking, everything returns to normal. So her ability can't "turn" women—it only creates a temporary sexual attraction. The reason I did this is to make Sephie stand out from the rest of the Charms. As for how the other girls will resist her… maybe I'll invent an alien, or have Lala create something, or even have Mikado develop a medicine that nullifies the effect—or at least allows others to withstand it. I'm leaning toward the last option. After all, among all the girls, only Lala, Momo, Nana, Yami, and Nemesis could resist her as they are now. But again—no yuri, and her ability works exactly as described.}
