Chapter 124 - CHAPTER 124

"Karin, hurry up! We're almost late for the Seventh Training Ground!" Naruto shouted urgently.

"Naruto! Why are you running so fast all of a sudden? I can barely keep up!" Karin panted heavily, clearly exhausted.

"Karin, training is super important! We're already late today—we can't keep slacking off. If Big Brother White Fang finds out, he's definitely going to scold us!"

"Alright, alright, I get it."

The moment Kakashi's name was mentioned, Karin stopped complaining.

To Karin, Kakashi—the one who brought her back to Konoha—was the most important person in her life since her mother's death.

After her mother was tortured to death in Kusagakure, Karin had found an opportunity to escape.

Not long after, she encountered Kakashi.

To her, Kakashi was the one who pulled her out of the darkness—her savior.

The two ran at full speed and soon arrived at the Seventh Training Ground.

"Hey! That looks like Big Brother White Fang!" Naruto yelled.

"Where?!" Karin asked excitedly, immediately spotting Kakashi seated in the field.

"Brother Kakashi is really here! I thought he'd be away on a mission."

"That's great! Karin, let's go!"

"Mm!"

At that moment, Kakashi opened his eyes. He had just finished his second round of Lightning Release Armor training for the day, which meant today's session was complete.

In the beginning, of course, continuing further was unrealistic.

Even though Kakashi's Lightning Release mastery was already top-tier, Lightning Release Armor was a brand-new style for him. Adapting to it fully would take time.

Twice per session was his current limit.

Still, even just those two attempts had already yielded subtle results—his body felt slightly stronger.

Since mastering the Sixth Gate of the Eight Gates Released Formation, Kakashi's physical growth had plateaued.

But now, it felt like the Lightning Armor training had finally broken through that ceiling.

Opening his eyes with a trace of delight, Kakashi smiled.

"Big Brother White Fang!"

"Brother Kakashi!"

Two familiar voices reached his ears.

Kakashi stood up, slightly surprised, and saw Naruto and Karin running over.

"Oh, it's Naruto and Karin. What are you two doing here?"

His eye curved into a cheerful arc as he smiled at them.

"We came to train, of course! Brother White Fang, I heard you defeated the Raikage! You're Konoha's hero now!" Naruto said excitedly.

Karin looked at Kakashi with admiration glowing in her eyes.

These days, Kakashi's accomplishments were the talk of the village. It was nearly impossible for the two not to hear about them.

Everyone in Konoha knew Kakashi's name now—and respected him.

When Naruto and Karin heard this, they couldn't help but feel a sense of pride.

"I didn't expect you to be so diligent, Naruto. Karin, have you been training with him too?"

As he ruffled Naruto's spiky blond hair, Kakashi turned to Karin with a smile.

"Mm! I've been training with Naruto. He's been helping guide me lately."

Kakashi cast Naruto a skeptical glance.

Considering Naruto's current level, his own grasp of techniques still needed polish—how could he possibly teach Karin properly?

If this kept up, it wouldn't be surprising if Karin ended up leading Naruto instead.

Naruto caught Kakashi's stare and gave a sheepish grin.

Clearly, he wasn't too confident about his teaching skills—it was more about enjoying the role.

"Karin, if you need help with training, you can come to me directly. Naruto can barely manage himself, let alone teach others."

"Brother White Fang! That's not fair—I'm really trying, y'know!" Naruto protested.

Kakashi chuckled and pressed down lightly on Naruto's head. "I know you're serious, but teaching takes more than effort alone."

Karin clung to Kakashi's arm and smiled. "Then, Brother Kakashi, will you teach me?"

"Of course. Karin, your chakra is massive, and there's a unique quality to it—it promotes rapid healing. If you could channel that into medical ninjutsu, your potential would be amazing."

"Medical ninjutsu?" Karin repeated, puzzled.

"Yes. It's a form of ninjutsu used to heal injuries. Like this."

Kakashi pulled out a kunai and made a shallow cut on his finger.

Both Naruto and Karin jumped in shock.

"Brother White Fang! What are you doing?!"

"Brother Kakashi!"

"Relax. Just watch."

Kakashi formed a quick hand seal. A soft green glow of chakra enveloped his hand, and in a matter of seconds, the cut on his finger vanished completely.

Naruto and Karin stared in awe.

"This… is medical ninjutsu," Kakashi said calmly.

"Whoa! That's incredible! I want to learn it too!" Naruto exclaimed.

"Me too, Brother Kakashi!" Karin chimed in eagerly.

Kakashi smiled but turned to Naruto. "Naruto, medical ninjutsu requires extremely precise chakra control. Yours is still too coarse—you're not ready for this."

"Huh?! Seriously?" Naruto looked disappointed.

"If you really want to learn it, you'll need to master chakra control at least on Karin's level."

"Alright…" Naruto muttered, crestfallen.

"Karin, I'm not a specialist in medical ninjutsu—I only know the basics. I can teach you the fundamentals, but afterward, you'll need to train further at Konoha Hospital."

"Okay." Karin nodded obediently.

"Alright, medical ninjutsu works like this..."

Kakashi began explaining the principle behind medical chakra and taught Karin how to extract the pale green energy from her own chakra pool.

From his perspective, Karin not learning medical ninjutsu would be a tragic waste of talent.

Her Uzumaki lineage granted her a natural healing ability far beyond average. If paired with medical training, her capabilities would increase exponentially.

Karin was undeniably gifted in this area.

Kakashi was already thinking ahead—when Tsunade eventually returned to the village, he planned to recommend Karin to her.

Given Karin's heritage and natural ability, he was confident Tsunade would accept her.

As a member of the Uzumaki clan, Karin would also benefit from learning sealing techniques.

While Kakashi wasn't sure about Naruto's aptitude in that field, he was certain Karin had it.

So when the time came, Kakashi wouldn't hesitate to pass down the Uzumaki sealing arts to Karin.

After all, those techniques belonged to her clan by right.

Teaching Karin was completely justified.

Besides, sealing jutsu remained one of the most powerful forces in the shinobi world—if they weren't, the Uzumaki clan wouldn't have been targeted, and Kaguya wouldn't have been sealed away with them.

For Karin, mastering those techniques would be vital.

A true sealing master would undoubtedly have a pivotal role to play in the future.
