Inside the study, the couple were still discussing seriously, and by now the topic has shifted from Simon to Gloria herself.
"Are you ready for the journey? Are you nervous?"
Gloria chuckled as she looked pretty much at ease.
"I am ready, as for being nervous. Shouldn't that be something that they should be feeling? What have I done wrong?" she indifferently responded, not feeling any pressure at all.
Xander chuckled relievedly at hearing that, and said to her, "Good. Don't feel any pressure. The moment you do, they can sense it. Who knows what they will be thinking in their hearts?"
"That's true, that's why those who are impatient will suffer. Whether they accept me or not, it won't affect me that much. After all, I wasn't expecting anything from the beginning. So, whether they are in my life or not, it actually doesn't matter."
