Her fingers curled into trembling fists, her heartbeat pounding against her ribs while dread coiled in the pit of her stomach. She desperately hoped she was wrong, yet the horrifying possibility refused to leave her mind.
"Yes..." the Alpha King replied simply.
The single word struck Addison like a physical blow.
