Zhu Kun added, "We only need two petals each. That's enough for our purposes. Please, Tiance, grant us this favor."
Their sincerity was evident, and Xiao Tiance could see how much the flower meant to them.
With a chuckle, Xiao Tiance waved his hand. One of the golden lotuses floated gently out of the pool and landed in their hands.
"We've known each other for over a thousand years, Gu Yuan. As for you, Dragon Emperor, we've fought alongside each other in the past. And Zi Yan here is my disciple. Take it it's yours."
Each flower had twelve petals. Although Gu Yuan and Zhu Kun only asked for two, Xiao Tiance felt it inappropriate to be stingy. Besides, with four more flowers left, he had more than enough to benefit White Jade Capital's future talents.
Gu Yuan and Zhu Kun were overjoyed and quickly bowed in gratitude. "Thank you, Tiance!"

After a quick check of the resources gathered by the twelve Heavenly Demon Puppets, Xiao Tiance felt satisfied with their haul. A minute later, Pangwa returned, leading Xiao Yan and the others.
"Tiance laozu, Pangwa said someone is attacking your spiritual formation?" Xiao Yan asked urgently.
"Yes," Xiao Tiance confirmed. "From the damage, I estimate there are at least 20 Demon Emperors outside. This includes several at the Sky Demon Emperor level. If I face them while also protecting all of you, it will hinder my speed and chances of success. So, you'll be safest inside the Heavenly Dao Tower."

Xiao Tiance initially intended to refuse, but after recalling Xiao Yan's mastery over fire, he reconsidered.
"Alright," he said. "Pangwa will share his vision with you inside the Heavenly Dao Tower. Xiao Yan, prepare your Flame Lotus. I may need it."
"Understood, laozu!" Xiao Yan and Xun'er replied in unison before Pangwa took them into the tower.
With Ling'er retreating into his body, Xiao Tiance vanished from the Moon God Palace Secret Realm in a flash.
The Battle Approaches
Over the Half Moon Sea, just outside the spiritual formation sealing the Sea Moon Continent, more than twenty Outer Realm Demon Emperors were relentlessly attacking the barrier.
At their forefront was a mid peak Sky Demon Emperor, one step away from advancing to the late stage. Beside him were three recently promoted mid stage Sky Demon Emperors, five early stage Sky Demon Emperors, and over a dozen high level Profound Demon Emperors, some of whom were on the verge of becoming Sky Demon Emperors themselves.
Their combined attacks were beginning to crack the formation.
"Kekeke, just a little more effort, and this formation will fall!" the leading Sky Demon Emperor cackled.
As Xiao Tiance arrived above the Moon God Palace, he looked toward the distant sky, his sharp gaze piercing through space to lock onto the attacking figures.
