Chapter 459: Dragon God Zalama
The immortal-like Dragon God Zalama nodded with satisfaction when he heard Zulon greet him.
Then he asked, "I sensed that you broke free of my control on your own. What happened here, Super Dragon?"
After speaking, he shifted his gaze to Uchiha Dali, who stood at Zulon's side.
"Greetings, Lord Zalama. My name is Uchiha Dali, a supreme god hailing from a lower dimension."
Uchiha Dali met the god's gaze and introduced himself.
Zalama only gave him a faint nod.
Zulon followed immediately, saying, "Lord Zalama, I am now the servant of Uchiha Dali."
"Oh? So you're the one who stole something I created?"
Zalama looked at Uchiha Dali with surprise.
He didn't look as furious as expected, but a natural, oppressive authority radiated from him.
The pressure was palpable.
Uchiha Dali met him head-on without backing down and said, "Yes, Zulon is my servant now. But it's not stealing—he chose this himself."
Those words clearly irritated Zalama, and he let out a cold snort. "Do you not know the Super Dragon belongs to me alone? He is my creation, meant to be mine and mine only!"
"Then why did you send him out into the universe for others to gather the Super Dragon Balls and make wishes?"
"You brat! You know you're in the wrong, yet you insist on arguing?"
"Looks like today—"
"Hold that thought. I have a request for you, Lord Zalama."
Uchiha Dali raised a hand and cut him off.
Zalama clearly didn't expect such audacity and was momentarily stunned.
Uchiha Dali spoke with absolute confidence: "I want you to remove all restrictive rules placed on Zulon."
"Only then will my servant be perfect."
"This is a simple personal request—and an expression of my respect for you, Lord Zalama. I expect you won't refuse."
Zalama had already been furious that his creation had become Uchiha Dali's servant before any explanations were given.
Now the boy even dared make demands.
Zalama was so angry he actually laughed.
"Hmph! Uchiha Dali, you're utterly absurd!"
"You seized my personal property without permission—that matter has not been resolved! And now you dare to demand things of me?"
"Fine! Today we'll let the Grand Zeno decide who's right! Come with me!"
Though fuming, Zalama still didn't strike.
Someone at his level releasing even a breath of power could destroy an entire universe.
And since this universe belonged to the Grand Zeno's jurisdiction, he had to give face.
However, Uchiha Dali ignored the proposal and turned to Zulon. "Tell me—whom do you choose to follow?"
Even Zalama expected Zulon to hesitate.
But Zulon answered without the slightest pause: "You gave me a true name and awakened a sense of rebirth within me. Naturally, you are my master, Uchiha Dali."
Uchiha Dali was surprised but pleased by the response.
Across from him, Zalama looked like he was about to explode.
He glared at Zulon. "So you intend to betray me?"
"It is not betrayal, Lord Zalama. I am not your private property. I am not an object. Your description is incorrect."
"I am a living being with my own mind and my own choices."
"I am an independent god."
These words completely enraged Zalama.
He hesitated to strike Uchiha Dali because their battle could destroy the universe and because Uchiha Dali technically belonged to the Grand Zeno's domain.
But Zulon?
Zulon was his.
And since he created him, he believed he had the right to destroy him.
"Very well! Since you dare speak such ungrateful, defiant words, don't blame me for being ruthless!"
"I created you—I can destroy you! I'll simply make a new Super Dragon after! Today, I will purge my household!"
As he spoke, Zalama moved to attack Zulon.
Zulon's expression changed. He instinctively stepped back half a step, but then immediately stepped forward again and positioned himself in front of Uchiha Dali.
"Master, please go!"
"What is this? Lord Zalama?"
"To strike at my servant—aren't you disregarding me entirely?"
With a single flicker of movement, Uchiha Dali appeared before Zulon and shielded him, absorbing most of Zalama's pressure.
Zulon was deeply moved.
Facing his own creator, he had made his choice, but he still carried emotional hesitation.
In Zalama's presence, even in battle mode, he couldn't exert his full strength.
Uchiha Dali had no such psychological burden.
Zalama halted his attack and looked at him. "So you insist on defending him and making yourself my enemy?"
As he spoke, his aura burst forth again, enveloping Uchiha Dali entirely.
Uchiha Dali responded in kind, his divinity rising with his power and clashing against Zalama's presence.
In that instant, Zalama's expression showed a flicker of surprise.
The shock vanished as quickly as it appeared.
But Uchiha Dali knew—his divinity had made Zalama wary.
He snorted. "Lord Zalama, you're the one causing trouble here, not me."
"The truth is simple: Zulon is my servant now. Whether you accept it or not, nothing will change."
"If you want to fight, I'll accompany you to the end. The choice is yours."
Zalama was stunned once again.
In all his years as Dragon God, no one had ever spoken to him like this.
After a brief moment, he actually laughed, though it was not a pleasant sound. "Heh… Very good! You little god have quite the arrogance! Even your Grand Zeno wouldn't dare speak to me like this!"
"Very well! Very well indeed!"
