Chapter 398: You Just Got Here and You're Already Leaving? No Way

Ōtsutsuki Urashiki glanced around but couldn't find any trace of Uchiha Dali. He looked a bit lost.

"I… I don't know. That guy might be hiding somewhere, or maybe he couldn't find me and just left…"

After speaking, he looked around again.

His sensory perception was already spreading out to search—but of course, he didn't detect anything.

The other ten powerful Ōtsutsuki were also using their own sensory abilities at that moment.

Naturally, their results were the same as Urashiki's—nothing.

These ten members of the enforcement squad frowned when they realized the enemy wasn't there. They turned their gazes toward Urashiki.

"Why didn't you hold him back?"

"I…"

Urashiki was speechless on the spot, staring at the enforcement squad in bewilderment.

He thought, If I had the power to hold that monster off, why would I have called for help in the first place?

Of course, he didn't dare say that out loud.

After stammering for a while, he finally said, "I couldn't beat him. He's too strong."

Luckily, the ten enforcement members didn't make things too difficult for him.

One of them asked again, "What about the Chakra Fruit?"

Urashiki hesitated again. "The Chakra Fruit… was taken."

"Hm?"

Immediately, he could feel the faces of all ten Ōtsutsuki darken.

Clearly, in their eyes, the Chakra Fruit was far more important than Urashiki himself.

"Prepare to return and accept punishment, Urashiki."

Hearing that, Urashiki felt miserable—wronged, even—but he didn't dare argue.

He knew very well it was because he was too weak.

"Honored elders, what should we do now?"

After a moment's hesitation, Urashiki asked.

Each of these enforcement members was a high-ranking Ōtsutsuki, far above someone like him—practically a grunt by comparison.

They didn't need to go out to collect Chakra Fruits. Normally, they stayed within the Divine Realm, enjoying the fruits of others' labor.

For them to come here at all was already a great favor. Urashiki didn't dare show the slightest disrespect.

The ten enforcement members looked at him and snorted coldly. "Obviously, we find a way to make up for it."

"Your Ten-Tails is still intact, right?"

"Yes…"

"Good. Then find a way to get another Chakra Fruit. If you fail to turn in the required amount before the annual Fruit Sharing Assembly—you know what happens."

"We've helped you as much as we can, Urashiki. The rest is up to you."

After saying that, the ten turned to leave.

Seeing this, Urashiki panicked a little.

He hurriedly called out, "Honored elders, you're… you're leaving already?"

"Why stay? The enemy's gone. Of course we're heading back."

"What, you want us to stay and help you collect Chakra Fruits?"

"Urashiki, being chosen to go out and gather Chakra Fruits is an honor. Plenty of people would kill for that chance. You should treasure it."

"…"

The ten enforcement members spoke one after another—some with authority, some casually, and some half-mocking Urashiki like a group of elders scolding a child.

When they finished, they prepared to leave again.

Urashiki opened his mouth but hesitated.

He was worried that once these enforcers left, that terrifying man would come after him again—and then he'd really be in trouble.

But judging from their attitude, it was clear they had no intention of staying.

They were in such a hurry to leave that if he said one more word, he'd probably get scolded.

Meanwhile, Uchiha Dali, who had been hiding nearby, saw that his enemies were about to leave and wasn't happy at all. What, the prey right in front of me is just going to walk away?

He immediately revealed himself.

"Hey, I'm right here."

The ten enforcement members, just about to leave, suddenly heard a voice from behind. Their bodies stiffened all at once, shock flashing across their faces.

They spun around sharply toward the direction of Uchiha Dali's voice.

Urashiki froze too.

He had never imagined the enemy had been hiding right beside them all along—and that none of them had sensed a thing.

If the man hadn't revealed himself, they would have had no idea that danger was lurking so close.

Right now, Urashiki's face had gone pale. Inside, he was utterly terrified.

This enemy was truly terrifying.

The ten enforcement members shared the same thought. They fixed their gazes firmly on Uchiha Dali, not daring to make a rash move.

One of them, who appeared to be the captain, stared at Dali for a moment and then demanded coldly, "Who are you? Why did you attack us?"

"Are you from the Manshi faction?"

Faced with the interrogation, Uchiha Dali gave a faint snort.

"I've been waiting for you all this time, and that's all you can ask?"

"As for your so-called Celestial Faction and Manshi Faction—I couldn't care less. I don't belong to either of them. There's only one thing I want."

He raised a finger, and the ten powerful beings immediately grew wary, fearing an attack.

"A lone cultivator, then? What is it that you want?"

"But before that—state your name!"

The captain's commanding tone carried an arrogance that grated on the ears.

Uchiha Dali shook his head. "You should be the ones to introduce yourselves first."

"Let's start with you."

He looked at the one on the far left—the apparent captain.

From left to right, there were ten of them, and Dali clearly wanted all their names.

Obviously, they had no intention of humoring such a demand.

All ten enforcement members snorted coldly, thinking this mysterious man was outrageously arrogant.

Just then, Urashiki finally snapped back to his senses.

He quickly shouted, "Honored elders, this guy has a terrifying ability—Everyone was taken down by it! Be careful!"

No sooner had he spoken than Uchiha Dali barked, "Ōtsutsuki Urashiki!"

Urashiki flinched violently. His mouth opened to reply—but then a cold sweat broke out all over him, his face turned deathly pale, and his soul nearly fled his body.

"Honored elders, that's the ability!" he yelled. "He has a sealing technique—if he calls our name and we answer, we'll be sealed! Everyone, don't respond!"

The ten enforcement members immediately grew tense and wary.

Uchiha Dali's eyes darkened with annoyance.

It seemed that his trump card—the Time-Space Gourd—was useless now.

All of its secrets had been completely exposed by Urashiki.

"I was planning to deal with you last," Dali said slowly, glaring at Urashiki, his tone ice-cold. "But now… you've made me very angry."
