Shiro observed from the sidelines as Sayuri Gojo, now enlightened, toyed with Toji Fushiguro.
Swoosh!
Using [Hollow Purple], Gojo created a gaping hole in Toji's body, leaving the man standing there in a dazed state, seemingly accepting his inevitable fate.
"Do you have any last words?" Sayuri Gojo asked.
"I have a daughter… Do as you please."
Once feared as the Sorcerer Killer, Toji Fushiguro was now reduced to a mere corpse.
As Gojo prepared to leave, she noticed someone standing before Toji's lifeless body.
"You! Who are you?" Gojo pointed a finger at the man.
Shiro's [Six Eyes] met Gojo's [Six Eyes]. Though the same technique, Shiro's gaze was far more dazzling and charming compared to Gojo's.
"You're the pervert who's been spying on me, aren't you?!" Gojo's face turned red as she accused him.
Shiro, who had planned to make a cool entrance, nearly lost his balance at her sudden claim.
"Don't bother denying it. I know it's you."
Cough! Cough!
"I don't know what you're talking about," Shiro mumbled, blushing in embarrassment. There was no way he could admit to her accusation—even if it was true. Besides, it was all for research purposes. But he hadn't expected Sayuri Gojo to actually notice his surveillance. It seemed that [Optical Magic: Clairvoyance] needed improvement. Furthermore, the fact that she recognized him instantly…
"Don't bother denying it. I can tell it's you without the need for confirmation."
"Do you say that to everyone you suspect?" Shiro retorted.
"Of course not. You're the only one I've accused."
"It wasn't me," Shiro denied once again, maintaining a straight face.
"You're shameless. Let's see if you can keep lying after I pummel that smug face of yours!"
"Oh ho! Bring it on." Shiro gestured for Gojo to make her move.
Gojo sensed something was amiss, but her confidence in her own power overrode all caution. She used [Lapse: Blue] to amplify her speed, appearing in front of Shiro in an instant—her leg aimed straight for his little brother.
Shiro was caught off guard—not by the attack, but by her target.
"How vicious."
He stepped back, dodging the strike before delivering a counterattack aimed at her face.
Sayuri Gojo didn't dodge, confident that Shiro wouldn't be able to bypass [Infinity]. But to her surprise, he effortlessly broke through as if the barrier didn't exist at all. No, it was as if [Infinity] had been outright nullified.
This was [Anti Skill] at work.
Shiro's unique spiritual constitution allowed him to seal off or outright nullify nearly all supernatural phenomena—except pure physical attacks or those possessing two or more properties simultaneously. Additionally, it allowed him to counteract the kinetic force and energy of the nullified phenomenon, amplifying his attacks in return.
Gojo, despite being caught off guard, instinctively raised both arms to defend. Even so, the sheer force of Shiro's kick sent her flying, smashing her into a nearby pillar.
As the smoke cleared, she stood up, her broken arm and bruised face healing in an instant.
She glared at Shiro, now seeing him in a new light.
"Hey, what's with that glare? You're the one who attacked me first. I was just defending myself."
"…" Gojo remained silent, sizing Shiro up from head to toe.
"Don't blame me for being harsh. I believe in gender equality. I wouldn't mind dropkicking a woman."
Gojo's expression twisted. She didn't know whether to be angry or impressed. She liked men who didn't look down on her just because she was a woman… but something about his words felt off, leaving her slightly dazed and speechless.
She had the urge to beat him up.
Still, the fact that he had bypassed [Infinity] so effortlessly meant he wasn't someone to underestimate. She decided to change her approach, hoping to glean more information.
"What do you want exactly?" she asked.
"Eh? Why do you ask? I thought we were in for a one-on-one."
Gojo's already twisted expression twisted even further.
She clenched her fists, ready to go all out.
"Okay, okay, stop. I'm not your enemy. In fact, I can be considered an ally."
Gojo raised an eyebrow, trying to discern any lies in his words.
"I can't explain it now, but trust me—we aren't enemies," Shiro assured her.
"But I didn't attack you because we were enemies. I attacked you because you're a stalking pervert who's been spying on me for months."
"…" Now it was Shiro's turn to be speechless.
Right. That was indeed the case.
"What do you want?" Shiro asked bitterly, no longer bothering to deny or confirm her accusations.
At first, Sayuri Gojo had wanted to beat Shiro up. But after seeing what he was capable of, she had a change of heart.
"If you truthfully tell me what that power of yours is—the one that nullified my barrier—I might forgive you. But you must promise never to spy on me again. If not, I'll mark you as a top-priority wanted Curse User."
Shiro sighed. "Alright, I'll tell you. And for the last time—it wasn't me spying on you."
Despite his reluctance, he agreed, wanting this farce to end. Not that he was hesitant to reveal [Anti Skill]—it was for a different reason.
He'd had enough, anyway. He already had plenty of material to work with.
"The power that nullified your [Infinity] isn't an Innate Cursed Technique or a Cursed Technique—it's a unique spiritual constitution of mine called [Anti Skill]. That's all I can say. But as some friendly advice, you should stop relying solely on [Infinity]. Even without my constitution, I could find several ways to bypass it."
"What ways?"
Gojo's initial interest was in Shiro's unique constitution, but hearing him claim he could bypass [Infinity] without it made her wary.
"I can name a few methods you're already familiar with. Sure-hit Domains. Spatial abilities. Mental-based techniques. You might be strong, but you're just a big fish trapped in a small pond. The world is full of unknowns, and dangers aren't limited to Curse Users and Cursed Spirits. Even normal humans, if given time, information, and resources, could eventually find a way to bypass your [Infinity]."
With those words, Shiro turned away, grabbing the fragments of the Chains of a Thousand Miles, the Split Soul Katana, and the Inverted Spear of Heaven, leaving Sayuri Gojo in a dazed state.
It took Geto Suguha, who had just arrived and called out to Gojo, to snap her out of it.
Shiro didn't bother telling Gojo about Kuroi and Amanai's status. Revealing that he could bring people back to life would bring him far too much trouble—not just from Jujutsu Sorcerers, but also from individuals like Kenjaku.
Who knew what other hidden forces existed in this world?
Shiro had watched and read far too many stories to be so narrow-minded.
Better to be called paranoid than to die due to incompetence and carelessness.
From his point of view, he was currently very weak. If he was careless, he could be crushed at any moment by anyone.
His definition of strength was an existence on the level of a True Demon Lord—someone with Divine Nature (a god) and an Ultimate Skill or two.
Living as a Dragonoid for thousands of years had slightly warped his perception of power, despite his intelligence and wisdom.
He might have seemed careless by revealing himself to Gojo, but it was all part of a premeditated plan.
If worse came to worst, he could easily abandon his current teenage identity.
With [Lust] at hand, changing from one identity to another was as simple as changing clothes.
His goal this time was to probe for any hidden dangers in this world, as it was an [AU] (alternative universe) unlike the original Jujutsu Kaisen world, and to secure some useful and interesting tools.
Shiro as a craftsman, Curse Tools like the Chains of a Thousand Miles, Split Soul Katana, and Inverted Spear of Heaven were akin to a five-star meal served to a beggar.
