The arrival of the Whitebeard Pirates threatened to crush Akainu's plan. Akainu and Kizaru had previously experienced the immense strength of the Whitebeard Pirates and knew they were invincible monsters; if not for Whitebeard's advanced age, Akainu likely would not have felt confident in facing him. With the crew's sudden appearance in the North Blue, the situation for the Marines had deteriorated significantly.
"Akainu... Marshal, what are we going to do? Cancel the plan?" Kizaru asked seriously.
"No! The plan continues!" Akainu gritted his teeth. "Although the appearance of the Whitebeard Pirates was unexpected, Whitebeard is old, and his previous injuries are likely not fully healed. It is perfect that he came, so we will eliminate them all together. I do not believe that old man can withstand the siege of three of us!".
While Akainu felt a sense of jealousy regarding Whitebeard's power, he was committed to the action. Having already accounted for the possibility of the Beasts Pirates joining the fray, the arrival of the Whitebeard Pirates was mostly within the Marines' control. Akainu's expression grew dark as he added, "Whitebeard, since you have come to die, I cannot help but welcome you. I failed to keep you last time, but this time, you and Roger's son, Ace, will not be running away!".
Meanwhile, the Whitebeard Pirates had just cleared the Calm Belt. Marco, who had been scouting ahead, flew back to the deck of the New Moby Dick. "Dad, I found out. The Straw Hats are fighting Blackbeard and Big Mom in that direction, but they seem to have the upper hand. Blackbeard seems to have been tricked!".
Ace looked on in disbelief. "Marco, is that true? Luffy's pirate group has the upper hand against Blackbeard and Big Mom? Are you not just telling me good news?".
Marco rolled his eyes. "Ace, I would never lie to Dad!".
Whitebeard laughed heartily, "Ku la la la! Let's go and have a look. If we find the opportunity, we will completely eradicate that bastard Teach!". Marco took to the sky to assist, while Jinbei dived into the sea to repay the favor he owed Luffy. Ace, unable to swim or fly for long periods, remained on the New Moby Dick, feeling slightly depressed that he was not the first to arrive. Whitebeard simply smiled and signaled for Bista to lead his team in a different direction to intercept "annoying flies," correctly anticipating Akainu's opportunistic movements.
Back on the battlefield, Sanjuan Wolf was sinking due to Licky's maneuver. Blackbeard frantically tried to rescue his giant comrade, but Luffy blocked his path. Meanwhile, the Blackbeard Pirates showed their lack of cohesion. Pizarro laughed at the giant's misfortune, while Shiryu and Joate exchanged sarcastic remarks about the impending deaths of their crewmates.
Luffy looked at Blackbeard with blatant contempt. "Blackbeard, you want to compete with me for the title of Pirate King with this pirate group that has no cohesion at all? Are you kidding me?".
Blackbeard felt heartbroken and humiliated, his face turning an ugly shade as Big Mom also looked at him with clear derision. The atmosphere on the battlefield grew increasingly strange; while the combatants continued to clash, the lack of unity among the Blackbeard Pirates had become glaringly obvious. The Straw Hat crew found themselves in a bitter battle, struggling to secure a definitive victory against the remaining enemy cadres.
