Evelyn Taylor stormed out of the house, without looking back, got into her car, and angrily drove away from home.
After driving out of the compound, she suddenly didn't know where to go, so she pulled over to the side of the road, took out her phone from her bag, and dialed her best friend Natalie Yates.
"Evelyn! Is there something wrong?"
After a few rings, Natalie answered the phone.
Over the phone, Evelyn heard a lot of noise and the sounds of kids playing, "Are you playing with the kids?"
Amidst the sounds of children's laughter coming from the other end, she recognized her best friend's son's voice.
"We just finished dinner and we're outside for him to play with some friends for a while," Natalie said, and then asked, "Did you call me for something?"
Her best friend brought the topic back, asking again.
