The mountain path branching downward was already close at hand. But rather than a mountain path, it was more like a series of naturally formed, masterfully crafted rocks protruding from the cliff. It was hard to say if this was a feat of human craftsmanship.
Even without the roaring winds, achieving such an engineering feat on this wall of a cliff would have been a miracle. But now, it could only be described as a divine miracle.
"Lady Veronica, give me the Lion Heart Sword! I'll go below, you run from above!" Brand shouted as he ran, his voice somewhat indistinct through the roaring wind.
"Lion Heart Sword?"
Veronica saw Brand's gaze land on the Green Sky in her hand and suddenly understood. She looked at Brand in disbelief—but the latter nodded at her.
The lady placed one hand on her sword, hesitating. But in the end, she tossed it out, and Brand raised his hand to catch the sword mid-air, then dashed towards the path leading into the Abyss.
