Kyle Kinston's mouth twitched slightly, and he awkwardly explained, "I'm just clumsy." Although even he felt that he didn't really need to explain anything.
Mabel Quinn patted her daughter's little head, then said to Kyle Kinston, "Children can be mischievous. I didn't notice when she sneaked onto the car and came over to the Corporation. I'll take Ivy back now."
"No rush. It's almost lunchtime now. Stay here for lunch before you go back," Kyle Kinston said.
"No need, Ivy and I will go back and eat," she hurriedly replied.
"What, are you afraid of having lunch with me and being seen and gossiped about?" He raised an eyebrow and asked, "Or do you think I'm something that can't see the light of day?"
Mabel Quinn paused, saying nothing more. She realized that people had seen her enter the Corporation, and if she acted secretively, it would only fuel gossip. It was better to face things openly.
