After a pause, her voice continued, "Even if he's dead, he still lives in my heart. Kyle, do you know what it means to be together forever? What does it mean to never abandon or forsake? Even if he can't be by my side, the person I love in this lifetime will only ever be him!"
In her mind, scenes of her once saying she loved him skittered by, when she said she'd be by his side for a lifetime. Everything then seemed so beautiful, but now, she no longer felt that love for him.

In that instant, his face turned pale, feeling a sharp pain in his chest. One hand pressed against his chest, his face clouded over.
