"I don't want to get a marriage license with you!" Sophia Hamilton wrinkled her nose. Even though she said that, the upturned corners of her lips already betrayed her feelings.
Evander Lancaster was amused by her insincere manner, and he playfully bit her earlobe, "Spicy little pepper, if you're not planning to get a marriage license with me, then with who, hmm?"
Sophia Hamilton winced and pulled her neck back, "Anyone but you!"
"You're asking for it." Those teasing words matched Evander Lancaster's current expression. He pulled Sophia Hamilton up with him, walked her to the door, and locked it. She had just exclaimed, "What are you doing?" when he pressed her against the wall.
