It felt like a thunderclap went off inside my head.
For a brief moment, everything around me slowed down. The movement of soldiers, the flicker of teleportation gates, even the drifting debris outside the asteroid, all of it seemed to fall into a strange stillness. My body reacted on its own, instinctively pushing outward, and for that split second, it was as if time itself had paused across the entire base.
Then I snapped out of it. The world rushed back.
My focus sharpened instantly.
"Who?" I asked.
The demon soldier didn't hesitate. He stepped forward slightly, speaking quickly, trying to get everything out clearly.
"Three underworld organizations, Lord Billion," he said. "Commander Primus sent out an emergency order about an hour ago to all relay bases. Every available force has been instructed to move and provide support to Abor."
I narrowed my eyes slightly. He swallowed before adding,
