Angela carefully opened the door and both of them entered the staff's room with caution.But there was nothing there's just a couch for the school staff to rest,a small table in the middle and a bookshelf with some books.
"Angela are you okay? There's nothing in here?" Naoki asked
"No.. The smell is in here we just have look for a compartment or something." Angela replied
They looked around the staff's room for 15 minutes. They checked the couch,look for some sort of artifact nothing.
"There's nothing here Angela we've looked at this room for about 15 minutes now and nothing out of the ordinary."
"No the smell is getting stronger Naoki I have to trust my senses." Angela said until she found something unusual in the bookshelf. It's not that visible for normal people but for Angela with a special ability that enhances her senses she spotted it
"Naoki look there's some strange mark on the shelf." Angela said
"How can you be sur-" before Naoki finished his sentence Angela put mana on the strange mark and it started to light up then smokes appeared below the table
"!!!"
Naoki lift the table and saw a small hinge that helped lift the floor up. After he lifted it up there is ladder that leads to somewhere
"We don't know what's in there so Naoki grab something that can be used as a weapon" Angela said as she grabbed a long stick
Naoki grab a mop broke the head and they headed down the ladder. When they got down the floor was wet and smelled bad it seems like a sewer system.
"It looks like the ladder brought us through the sewer system of the school." Naoki mentioned
"I'll be in the front stay close to me." Naoki stated
"Wait before we go." Angela casted a small spell
[Guiding Light]
A small light appeared above Naoki's head and they started walking. It took them awhile when Angela sense a thing approaching at them.
"Naoki get ready." Angela whispered
*Screech*
A large mutated rat appeared in front of them it's body looking deformed
"My God what happened to it!" After Naoki said that more mutated rats appeared
"There seems to be 12 of them in total. Naoki can you handle the front I'll follow behind you." Angela asked
"Alright let's go" Naoki answered clutching his stick

[Strengthening]
Angela applied buffs to both of them and Naoki quickly rush forward
*Splat*
Naoki hit the head of the rat using the stick killing the monster but it's blood splattered everywhere
*Sizzle*
"Shit! Angela watch out it's blood is acidic!" Naoki yelled
[Holy Fire]
Angela burned down two rats with a fire that burn the enemy of the user but heal it's ally
"Got it!" Angela answered
' it's too dangerous to attack it physically I guess I'll have to use magic'
[Wind Arrows]
The arrows pierced the rats but they barely react to it. Naoki used another magic that requires more mana but because of mana essence his mana capacity becomes bigger
[Stone Drill]
An intermediate spell that shape the stone and is spun rapidly. The drill managed to pierced three rats
*Screech!!*
The rats lunge forward at Naoki knocking him to the ground but luckily the stick manage to stop it's mouth from biting him.
He proceeds to push the rat away and land a clean hit in the side of it's body using the stick and he immediately cast a spell
[Fireball]
The rat was burnt into crisps. The other mutated rats back off for a bit and decided to run away. Naoki looks at Angela and she manage to kill 2 more mutated rats
"May your soul rest in peace." Angela prayed
"Let's go Naoki it seems like we're almost there."
While they are walking the shadow figure peeked at them holding the head of the remaining rats.
Along the way the two of them encountered different monsters. Slimes,Mutated bats and more mutated rats.
"How come the school didn't notice this in the first place." Naoki asked
"I don't know why but it feels like this is connected to the Ent incident." Naoki added
"We're here." Angela said
A huge wooden door is in the end of their travels. Naoki knocked at the door but no one answered, he knocked again and still no no answer.
Naoki decided to break the wall and find out what is behind it
"Angela help me out a bit I need a power buff." Naoki asked
[Strengthening]
[Power Up]
After the buff that Angela gave to Naoki he put down his stick and covered his hand in mana
[Mana Enhancement]

His mana output rises through the roof and he punched the wooden door.
*Boom*
"?!?"
After Naoki broke the door Angela saw three hooded person inside the room
"What the hell?!" One of the hooded person yelled
Naoki looked around the room and thinks it's some sort of hidden laboratory inside the sewer.
"You guys are you the reason for those mutated animals earlier..." Naoki coldly asked
Then one of the hooded person throws a dagger at Naoki
"Look out!" Angela yelled and quickly cast a spell
[Divine Barrier]
'Woah this looked like the barrier I used in the Ent incident.'
"Kill them!" The hooded person with a mark on its hood shouted
The other hooded person rushed forward at them.
[Path of Destruction 1st Path]
[Black Whip]
Two black whips appears from one of the hooded person and rushed forward at Naoki.
Naoki caught one of the whip but the other pierced the side of his body.
*Blegh*
"Naoki!" Angela yelled when the dagger person rush forward at her
[Divine Barrier]
She successfully blocked one of their daggers when the dagger person used something
[Path of Enlightenment 2nd Path]
[Telekinesis]
The dagger that they threw Naoki earlier came back and stabs Angela shoulder in the back.
*Urgh*
Naoki boxed with the whip person. Jab after jab the whip person dodged all of it, he jab the person again and when the whip person tries to dodge he feint his attack.
[Justice Smash]
*Blegh*
The whip person was knocked to the ground and the buffs Naoki got is over. Naoki looked at Angela and tried to help her until.
*Whoosh*
The whip person grab his foot and threw him into the ground
"HAHAHA! It's been a while since I've boxed with someone. Come one give everything you got." The whip person said and wrapped his black whip around his hand
[Holy Fire]
Angela tried to burn the dagger person but unfortunately
[Magic Barrier Tier 3]
"Come on little holy girl, show me what you got."
[Path of Faith 1st Path]
"Fine I won't hold back..." Angela said preparing her attack
The dagger person rushed forward at her and Angela also rushed forward and swings her stick at the person
The person parried it with her daggers and cuts Angela's right cheek
"Oops sorry it seems like I'm ruining your pretty face." The dagger person mockingly said
*POW*
Naoki starts to land some hit on the person but in retaliation the whip person also punched back.
'Why is my body getting slower.' Naoki thought
"Looks like the poison is hitting you." The whip person said
'I need to finish this fight before the poison kill me. The whip he used earlier had poison.'
[Raging Jab]
Naoki jab at the whip person's nose but they retaliate with a punch from his stomach
The threw punch after punch at each other with no sign of stopping
"Come on boy!!" The whip person yelled
'I need to end this now, I have no choice but to use it.' Naoki thought
[Armor Journal: Gauntlet]
Two Gauntlet appears from Naoki's hand and he prepared his attack. The whip person smile and summons more whip covering his body.
[Black Whip]
The whip person smiles and both fighters rush forward at each other

[Dark Rush]
They traded blow after blow at each other and the impact of their fight shook the room. As the smoke clears Naoki stands above the whip person knocked unconscious
[Holy Beam]
The dagger person was launched away by the beam and was also knocked out.
*Huff* *huff*
Angela's uniform is full of holes as her body is also full of cuts by the dagger
*Few moments ago*
[Telekinesis: Dagger Rush]
Daggers flew randomly at Angela her body gets cut by the fast moving dagger. She thought to herself about causing pain to others but she has no choice
"What are you give?" The dagger person said
Angela raises her stick and she imagine it as a staff to properly cast her spell
' it's not as strong than with a staff but I have no choice'
"Heavenly Light provide me the power to weird you once more and banish the evil Infront of me." After she said her chant
[Holy Beam]
The dagger person reacted quickly and cast a barrier
[Magic Barrier Tier 3]
*Crack*
'Impossible! How can an academy student be this strong!' the dagger person thought as she is launched away by the attack
The two is already exhausted at their fight when the mark hooded person released one of his creation
"HAHAHHAHAHA,kneel before my beautiful creation"A humanoid rat that has ears and wings of a bat stand before them
*Screech!!*
*Whoosh*
When all hope seems lost the shadow figure finally emerge and slashed the creatures arm
"Be honored!" the shadow figure said
"Because Miguel Avarice have entered the battle!" Miguel appeared along with another person
