"Hmmm..."
Rael glanced around. It really was just as he saw from above. A total hellhole. But at least the windows weren't smashed, and the door was even. If anything, the inside seemed a lot better.
Upon closer look, Rael realized that it was completely renovated, making the inside actually look like a proper home. It was just the exterior that was complete shit.
"Do you want my honest thoughts on it?" Rael asked.
Uriel smiled at him. "I would prefer it if you just kept your mouth shut in regard to my home."
"Really? Huh. Well, it's not that bad," Rael replied.
Uriel's smile widened. "As I said, I'd rather not hear it, since I can feel when you're sarcastic. Now then, we'll enter our home, and you must take your shoes off. That is basic common courtesy."
Rael let out a sigh and pointed at his feet. "Does it look like my feet have ever touched the muddy ground? What's the point of taking my shoes off if my feet won't be touching your floor either?"
