Leaving his mothers to reflect on what he had heard, Idan left the house holding hands with Arabel's avatar.
It was still the middle of the night outside.
The artificial moon and stars shone brightly in the sky, where clouds floated, and a cool breeze carried the sounds of the night bustle.
They walked slowly to Essora's house, where the real Arabel was already waiting for them in an elaborately furnished room.
"You took your time," Arabel said with a slight grin, leaving the room and hugging Idan.
Avatar Arabel didn't stay long and left with Essora to discuss some business, leaving the couple alone.
"You took your time," Idan replied, gently cupping his wife's cheeks and kissing her. Arabel greedily returned the kiss, as if she had been waiting for this moment for a long time.
For Idan, it hadn't been a day since he'd last seen her, but for Arabel herself, a whole week had passed in this "time room."
