As she approached the Central Layer and the radius of the Anomaly decreased, Lucinda noticed more and more rich deposits of resources and fierce battles of Golden-ranked beasts.
Sensing the fluctuations of the Platinum-ranked creature, the beasts stopped fighting and froze, not wanting to attract her attention.
Fortunately for them, Lucinda showed no interest in them and flew past them.
As soon as her presence disappeared, the battle between the beasts would resume with renewed vigor.
The situation was similar in all four Anomalies.
Valuable resources were located closer to the center of the Anomalies, and therefore all the beasts that reached the peak Golden rank sought there, despite the danger, driven by the desire to break through to the Platinum rank.
As a result, Lucinda became the first to cross the boundary between the Middle and Central layers of the Ice Anomaly.
