Chapter 19 - "Microscopic"

Loud curses of frustration echoed through the dungeon-like basement.

"Who the hell are you?!"

"Dammit! I was just about to finish!"

"Tsk! For fuck's sake, I was so close—hey, someone deal with them. I can't just stop now!"

The seven men, previously indulging in their sick pleasures, turned their ire toward the two intruders—a strikingly beautiful dark elf and a boy whose delicate features blurred the line between elegance, femineity and masculinity. The sight of them, standing unbothered amidst the filth of the room, stirred both confusion and irritation in the men.

One of them, aware of this being an issue turned to the leader. "Boss, should we get rid of them?"

"Wait, I'll do it. But I get to keep the elf!"

Xavier, the self-proclaimed leader of these degenerates, finally turned his gaze toward the pair. His eyes flickered between the delicate, youthful beauty of the elf girl and the feminine yet undeniably male features of the boy beside her.

The moment his gaze locked onto the dark elf, his lips curled into a grin. He let his eyes roam greedily over her figure, drinking in every curve, every strand of silky hair. A beauty like hers was rare, and the more he looked, the more his desire grew.

He chuckled darkly at his subordinate's suggestion. He would've agreed—if it were just the boy. But the girl?

 No. She was his.

His smirk widened as he turned toward the groggy, battered woman slumped against the wall—the girl's supposed sister. He gave her a passing glance, then looked back at the younger elf, comparing the two.

Ah, it's unfortunate. All the beauty must have gone to the younger one.

Xavier stepped forward, naked and unashamed, hunger clear in his eyes. He licked his lips. "Girl, come. Be mine. You won't regret it." He took another step, then added, "And this isn't a choice. Say yes, and I'll consider letting you join in together with your sister."

He was just about to close the distance between them, but eyes eyes turned back to the young boy, Xavier noticed the boy beside her he wasn't reacting—no anger, no panic, fear nothing.

 Just a blank stare.

No. Not blank.

As Xavier locked eyes with the boy, a sudden, inexplicable feeling of unease settled in his chest. The boy's gaze had changed, his expression shifting ever so slightly. There was no hostility. No amusement.

Only… pity?.

A deep, genuine, soul-crushing pity.

Dante sighed, shaking his head slowly, his voice soft and filled with unmistakable sympathy. "Life is truly cruel… You're handsome, got a decent build… and yet—" He let out a sorrowful breath. "You walk around with a tiny little dagger, no kitchen knife? between your legs. Damn, bro. That's just …. tragic."

The room went dead silent.

Xavier's smirk vanished instantly. His breath hitched. "W-What—" But Dante wasn't finished.

"Even my dick is probably bigger than yours," he, shaking his head again. "No wonder. No wonder you've turned out like this. No woman in their right mind would ever willingly take something that… microscopic. Oh, bro, this is heartbreaking."

He placed a hand over his chest, Dante felt pure grief over what he was seeing. "Damn… I get it now. That's why you're like this. You had no other choice. Where else could you go? Who else would accept that?"

Xavier's face twisted in growing shame, an urge to buckle up his knees was surging but he resisted anger was building. "You—!"

Dante cut him off, again, his voice thick with genuine sorrow. "Sigh… Let's be honest, that girl probably didn't even feel anything." Dante paused , then looked at it again, "Oh no, man. Look at it. That's just sad. It's not even getting smaller—it's disappearing. Fuck, bro. No, no. That's just unfortunate. That's really unfortunate."

Xavier's entire body trembled—partially from rage, partially from the sheer humiliation.

Then, something unexpected happened.

Muffled snickers. Stifled laughter.

The sound didn't come from his men.

It came from the women.

The battered, beaten, suffering women.

Despite their pain, despite the horrors, they couldn't hold it in. Some clutched their bruised ribs as they tried not to laugh, while others let out quiet chuckles even tears dried on their faces.

Of course they had hurled insults at their captors before in anger and humiliation. That wasn't what made them laugh. Though their insults weren't as, degrading as the little boys'. Rather what made it so funny:

It was the boy's voice.

His tone. His expression.

He wasn't mocking Xavier.

He genuinely felt sorry for him.

As if Xavier was some malnourished, abandoned street child with no hope for the future. As if his entire existence was a tragedy.

And for the first time in his miserable life—Xavier felt small.

Pathetically, humiliatingly small.

Xavier soon heard even his own men struggling to contain their laughter. "Shut up!!" he barked, but his anger only made things worse.

As he scanned the room, he noticed that many of them were staring at his crotch. A wave of self-consciousness washed over him. The confidence he had carried just moments ago had been stripped away before he could even fight.

He clenched his jaw and turned toward the bed, where the dark elf he had just forced himself on was now watching him with a defiant grin. All the captive women wore similar expressions—smiles that he couldn't understand. It was as if they had completely forgotten their situation.

Scowling, he grabbed his pants and pulled them on before turning back to them. "All of you," he growled, "I'll be sure to have even more fun with you after I kill this little shit."

The elves stiffened, their brief moment of defiance shattered as reality crashed back down on them. Their gazes shifted toward the child standing before them. His face, which had previously held an expression of pity, now carried something else, curiosity. Then he sighed, shaking his head.

"Tch, show some sympathy for a man who clearly needs it, and you get repaid with rudeness."

Xavier gritted his teeth, stepping toward the boy. His rage had simmered into something colder, more controlled. Heat radiated from his body as yellow flames flickered across his skin. The fire didn't burn him—it moved like it was an extension of himself. The room's temperature spiked as he drew closer.

"Boy, how did you get here? And how did you do that to my subordinates?" Xavier gestured to two floating bodies. One hung limply, blood dripping from his face. The other… the other was a twisted mess of shattered bones and torn flesh. He was somehow still breathing—barely, maybe.

The Dark elf girl, turned to look at the bodies that had been floating a few steps behind them , they were the patrolling guards the senior toyed and beat a while ago.

A crude steel ball, the door turned into a round steel ball, hovered alongside them, stained with fresh blood. The male elves shuddered at the sight, finally noticing as Dante used his skill to let them float into the room ahead of them.

The boy shrugged. "Those bastards looked at me wrong, in wrong and creepy way , Im a victim actually, so I delivered some swift justice." He tilted his head.

"As for how I got here… Actually, you're asking too many questions. I'm running low on time. Those guys outside will probably report their findings soon. I can't let that bastard get away."

He stretched his arms lazily, his casual demeanor infuriating the guards. Just as they were about to speak, their eyes widened in horror. The boy slipped his hand from his pocket and pointed at the dark-skinned elf whom the other woman had called "sister." He gestured with a simple "come here."

The heavy chains binding the elf groaned before snapping apart. In an instant, she shot toward him at an impossible speed. Xavier could see it, but his body couldn't react. By the time his nerves caught up, the girl was already floating, gently placed in the arms of the woman who had arrived with the boy.

Then, the boy pointed to the steel ball above his head and flicked his fingers forward. The ball didn't just move—it jetted with a ridicules speed towards the four guards who had clustered together near their leader. Panic sued but, they were simple too caught of guard to react , even if they tried, they couldn't.

Before anyone could process what had happened, their bodies were reduced to mincemeat. The steel Balls power and speed blasted them before pancaking them against the back wall which luckily had only some weapons hung on them. Blood painted the walls

Dante nodded to himself, then turned to the last two guards who had hesitated to join the others. He felt movement to his right. His eyes, honed by the skill Acceleration, tracked the scene in slow motion. Xavier had hurled a fireball as a distraction, using it to cover for his escape.

Dante smirked. "Running and abandoning your subordinates the moment things go sideways? I can respect that."

.........….

Xavier was no fool, he sensed things weren't making any sense the moment the dark elf prisoner girl was freed and "floated" or rather flew at ridiculous speeds to the other girl beside the boy. He was a veteran, someone capable of decerning fights you can win, and fights you ought to retreat on.

After all he was a Man whos' was a few centuries away from entering deeper into the legendary tier, hence he could easily understand.

'That is not a child'

What was before him was a monster.

One, he couldn't sense any disturbance in the mana, when the child acted. That indicated greater skill level or control level of one's own skill.

Two, his skill also seem to be a telekinetic skill, but he never heard of this child before. He was no fool, something was amiss!

Three, the moment Dante killed his subordinate's faster than he could react he knew very well! 'Indeed, this is a monster'.

Four. The child was unmoved by the sight before him, unmoved and uncaring. What child witnesses a scene as disturbing as this and has no reaction whatsoever? That cant be a normal child. This being was probably not even a child, just a powerful geezer who chose this form.

Five, he had easily reached here without anyone knowing, even killing guards, no one reacted or reported this to him, even now as he was speaking?

Again! Xavier was no fool!

.....................….

Danta erected a barrier around him, compressing the air around him using telekinesis into something solid like, and the girl absorbed the flames harmlessly though he noted again excessive use was draining his mana. He lifted his right hand, motioning as if grabbing something, he stopped Xavier the second person today who tried to propel past him this time the person used flames.

With a satisfied nod, he returned his hand to his pocket.

Xavier, mid-air in an awkward running pose, froze in place. His body floated back toward Dante, suspended helplessly.

Dante then turned to the final two guards. His eyes narrowed. A crushing force bound them, hoisting them into the air. Their screams filled the room as their limbs were yanked from their bodies one by one—arms, legs, then heads.

Blood rained down in thick rivulets.

Dante nodded in approval. "Mental Dominion is proving to be a truly powerful skill."

In less than 5 minutes.

Silence fell over the room. Only the captive women, Dante, the woman he had arrived with, the unconscious elf in her arms, and the three floating bodies remained.

Dante took a step forward. Then another. But he didn't walk on the ground—he walked upward as if the air itself had become solid beneath his feet. A slow smile spread across his lips as he admired his work of art.
