Rika threw cold water over her flushed face, gripping the edges of the sink as she stared into the tiny, cracked mirror hanging on the wall.
"What are you doing?" she whispered furiously to her reflection, her chest heaving. "You can't feel like this for some random man who just stepped foot in the kingdom.
This is completely wrong, Rika. You are married, what if your husband is dead and you haven't had sex in last 2 years. You need to control these dirty, shameful urges. It's not even the breeding season... so do not let this stupid, heavy lust take over your body."
She took a deep, shuddering breath, forcing a mask of stern confidence over her beautiful features.
"Yes. Control your desires. You can easily do this." Squaring her shoulders, Rika walked out of the bathroom.
