Whether Noah looked down on Tony was obviously a no.
Back then, Noah had been scolded by Tony the same way-though that was only because the problems Noah pointed out were trivial to Tony and completely outside his expertise.
Later, when Tony began studying magic, Noah clearly saw just how terrifying this man's talent was.
So Noah had even less reason to look down on him.
He believed that if he explained things properly, Tony would understand.
But right now, Noah had no intention of explaining anything.
Very few people could truly accept the reality of being dead, then existing again as a manifestation from a past point in time.
Even though this situation was dangerous, it was still better than being completely gone.
Besides, hadn't his teacher-the Ancient One-already hinted at this?
Ignorance was bliss.
For those involved, and for those who tried to understand it.
Seeing Noah's attitude, Tony didn't push the issue.
It didn't affect him anyway.
When the two wizards fought, he hadn't joined in, even though he'd badly wanted to.
He wanted to help save people.
But interfering in wizard affairs was a bad idea-especially when Noah wasn't present.
Because of that, Tony had also stopped the other Avengers.
Going in would've just been suicide.
In the end, their judgment proved correct.
Watching the devastation caused by the two wizards on the screen, followed by the black spatial rifts tearing open the sky, they finally understood the meaning of a massive gap.
They experienced firsthand what it meant to die from "unknown area-of-effect damage."
That disparity left them deeply uncomfortable.
They could only watch as civilians were caught in the crossfire and died for no reason.
Fortunately, in the end, those people came back.
A sweep of green light.
Time rewound.
Everything restored.
It was unbelievable.
No-it was a miracle worthy of a god.
And the one who did it was someone they knew.
The wizard Noah.
Their relationship with him wasn't particularly close, but not distant either.
Seeing this, the Avengers finally relaxed.
No one mentioned going out to interfere anymore.
"Fine. If you won't say it, don't." Tony propped his chin up with one hand, grinning mischievously.
"But the mess you guys made was big enough."
"You know the date of Easter got changed, right? National referendum."
"I know. Fury told me." Noah shrugged.
"I don't care. Let them change it. I'm not sensitive to that kind of holiday. You know I don't even celebrate Christmas."
Thor shook his head helplessly.
He knew enough about Noah to not be surprised by that.
But to Tony, it felt like casting pearls before swine.
He found it funny, yet the other party was completely unmoved.
That somehow made it even more frustrating.
This was probably the difference between wizards and ordinary people...
No.
More like the difference between someone who grew up in the magic world and someone who learned it later...
Wait.
That didn't sound right either.
After thinking for a long time, Tony shook his head hard and stopped.
If he kept going, his brain would be filled with junk thoughts.
Tapping a key on the keyboard, he said, "Natasha's body has been ready for a while. Hey, big guy, miss your old friend?"
"I wouldn't say I miss her." Fat Thor shrugged.
"Timeline-wise, it's been less than a month since we parted."
Tony ignored him and continued operating the computer.
By now, all the Avengers had gathered.
No one knew who notified them, but everyone was curious about what Noah planned to do.
Noah didn't care.
Showing Valkyrie was the same as showing them.
It wasn't a big deal-especially since they already knew her.
Once everything was prepared, Tony had JARVIS bring in drinks.
And the cloned body of Natasha.
Looking at Natasha lying on the lab table, appearing no different from someone asleep, Noah had to admit her figure was impressive.
Aside from being a bit short-which didn't fit his preference for long legs-everything else could be described as perfect.
That said, since she didn't fit his taste, he naturally wasn't interested.
Taking a deep breath, Noah took out a diamond.
With a slight stir of mana, the hard gem shattered like brittle glass.
After carefully examining the soul stored inside, Noah let out a quiet sigh of relief.
Fortunately, there were no issues.
It had to be said-diamonds really were ideal for this.
The only problem was their price.
Expensive in both the mundane world and the magical one.
Their storage capacity was terrifying.
"Remember, this gem was extremely expensive." Noah prepared to begin, but didn't forget to mourn the loss.
"Tony, the Mr. Stark from that universe promised to pay me back. Still hasn't."
"Dammit. You're already rich. Why are you still this greedy?" Tony almost rolled his eyes.
"Want me to buy you an African diamond mine?"
"Thanks. I'll remember that." Noah smiled slightly.
"When you do, remember to give me shares. I'll place it under the Arc Company umbrella."
"Fine. Got it. You miser." Tony pouted and stopped talking.
Noah cut off the chatter.
Mana wrapped around Natasha's soul and slowly moved toward the body on the table.
Then, once more, Noah's mana surged.
A pale golden glow spread across his body as his hand pressed down on the clone.
When the light gradually faded, Noah withdrew his hand and lightly clapped.
Done.
The Avengers exchanged looks.
They had no idea what had just happened.
From their perspective, Noah crushed a gem, waved his hand, glowed briefly, and declared it finished.
That was resurrection?
Was he joking?
The Asgardian quintet, however, stood frozen.
Unlike the Avengers-who couldn't see souls-they had seen everything.
And precisely because they saw it, the scene felt unreal.
Noah's control over souls was absurd.
Valkyrie, especially, was now completely convinced.
This wizard had truly mastered resurrection magic.
The body on the table was a clone-Fat Thor had already explained that.
Given her age and experience, how could she not understand what a clone was?
A body with life signs but no consciousness.
An empty shell.
And yet, in Noah's hands, it had become a true living being.
It was unbelievable.
With this wizard around, everything suddenly felt simple.
In her excitement, Valkyrie even forgot that Noah's magic was still missing a crucial step.
Of course, she wasn't the only one shaken.
Hela was unsettled as well.
Earlier, this wizard had mocked her openly, earning himself a permanent place on her mental "to-be-settled" list.
But now, she had to admit-
He wasn't simple.
Even without fighting him, this level of soul manipulation-and the mana that felt dangerous even when barely leaking-was enough.
Hela immediately classified him as a threat.
She had been sealed for far too long and knew little of the current world.
But her instincts were intact.
Her judgment was sharp.
She realized this wizard was someone she absolutely shouldn't provoke.
That made sense.
If he were easy to deal with, how could he be so close to her two...those two idiot brothers?
And the Thor from the other universe was no less alarming.
Fat.
Smiling.
Looking like a harmless fool.
Yet the power contained within him was terrifying.
It even made Hela feel that even if she returned to Asgard at her peak, she might not win.
"Wh... what just happened?" The Asgardians were lost in thought, but the Avengers couldn't hold it in anymore.
They really didn't understand.
"Did it work?"
"Of course it worked." Noah replied casually.
"Didn't you see me put her soul into the body?"
He said it as if it were obvious-then paused.
"Oh. Right. You can't see it." He waved a hand.
"Anyway, the magic was simple. It's done."
"That's it? Just like that?"
"What were you expecting?" Noah rolled his eyes.
"Magic circles on the floor? Blood everywhere? Animal corpses? Brewing some foul-smelling potion? Chanting spells even Native Americans wouldn't understand?"
"This is magic."
"Not folk witchcraft."
The Avengers looked awkward.
Because that was exactly what they had imagined.
And at that moment-
Natasha's eyelids, resting on the lab table, suddenly trembled.
