To save the werewolf race, Kai now known as Malachai, attempts to unite werewolves, witches and vampires as the supreme leader to wage a war on the humans and force them into submission.

Chloe is the key to this new world. The hope of a better future. All she has to do is stand by Malachai's side. It's easier said than done as she navigates a world that shouldn't be fueled by rage and revenge.

Trust was a long, arduous process that the greatest of men had to undertake to rule. Fear, however, was swift. It brought the strongest and most stubborn men to their knees with a single action.


Malachai had won the trust of the Order Line. They swore their fealty to him after he slaughtered Rogues in the forest at thirteen. He protected them with his life, and Kai foolishly thought it would be enough to sway them.


So, Kai told them the truth of what truly ran in his veins and the so-called trust he gained, dissipated in an instant. Out of panic and anger, he wiped their memories of the incident. That was how he found out he had magic. It was a potent thing that Malachai all but forced Kai to learn. The only way he could stop his powers from harming the ones he, 'loved', was to make sure he could control it.
