"What's going on?" The voices were mumbled. Like flies sounding in my ears. They seemed to buzz around me. I couldn't make out the remaining words
I tried to open my eyes, but it wouldn't open. It almost seemd like they were glued shut and any attempt would just worsen my condition. My theory was proven right when I fell back into the abyss.
"Cassie?" I called out, my voice desperate. Nothing. No response. What the fuck.
"Cassie!? Cassie!?" I was louder, an ache in my chest at the feeling of silence and emptiness.
My eyes refused to open. I needed Cassie to help me heal, because I could feel the weakness spreading like a disease throughout my body. I couldn't move and I couldn't communicate with Cassie.
"What did you do to her!?" The person speaking was too loud. I shut my eyes the more at the disturbance. It reminded me of Alejandro in my 6th graders class, when he was throwing a tantrum. But who was speaking.
