"Coco came home feeling all needy last night?" Alhai repeated what Heiren said, his face black as his body froze in his seat.
"Not my exact words, but yes." Heiren affirmed, placing a plate of four stacked fluffy pancakes in front of Alhai. "She slammed the door open when she got back. It startled me and Quizen, but when we went to see if she's okay, she just dragged both me and Quizen to the table."
"Which was the coffee table." Zaque chided, placing the maple syrup beside Alhai's plate.
"Is that why you're cleaning the living room like crazy?" The third husband asked, turning his head to look at his brown haired friend who refused to meet her gaze.
"It's what I found first thing this morning." The first husband grumbled, pulling a chair out and plopping himself softly on top of it.
"Really?" Alhai hummed, keeping his stare on the other mediator.
