"I know, my love." Cleora answered with a small smile. "Then, we will go with a close knit wedding for the two of you."
Coco brightened almost immediately. "Really?"
The older woman could only nod. "Really. You're the bride, and you're the one getting married. I offered to take care of your wedding costs because I wanted to be there for you."
Coco's heart warmed at the words, but Cleora wasn't done.
"I don't want to be like any other mother back on earth who did what they wanted for their child's wedding just because they're the ones taking care of the payments." Cleora stated, quickly adding to her previous statement. "What kind of mother would I be if I became like them?"
The corner of Coco's lips twitched at that, while Kairo simply shook his head.
How could they be so lucky to have an understanding and open-minded mother like Cleora? Not to mention, she's the one who has the money to give her daughter whatever she wants.
