"Who are we looking for?"
Stepping out from the crack in space, the burly, broad-shouldered men stretched their bodies and laughed.
"This is his blood!"
"Find him in this world. These so-called Shinigami are utterly useless; they're of no help at all. In the end, we still have to rely on our own strength!"
Kenpachi Chengdui said disdainfully.
"With his blood, there are many things I can do. Don't worry, leave this matter to me, Paul!"
Paul, whose head was wrapped with a bandanna, long golden hair draped over his shoulders, and muscles bulging, took the vial of blood from Kenpachi Chengdui's hand and grinned.
"Hurry up. That man is even more important to me than this world itself!"
Kenpachi Chengdui said viciously.
After traveling through so many worlds and enduring countless hardships, Kenpachi Chengdui had only grown braver and more unstoppable, crushing all obstacles in his path.
He had never suffered such a severe setback before.
"My King, what exactly did he do to make you so furious?"
A man carrying a giant sword on his back asked curiously.
"I was only one step away from being killed by him!"
Kenpachi Chengdui gritted his teeth.
That single sentence instantly changed the expressions of the dozen or so people gathered there.
They came from a powerful world and had submitted to this King because of his domineering aura and madness, becoming his subordinates and willingly helping him conquer territories and forge a future empire.
Naturally, they were all well aware of just how terrifying his strength was.
A man capable of nearly killing their King was undoubtedly an expert who was in no way inferior to him.
"That's a lot of pressure, My King!"
Paul scratched his forehead, smiling rather strangely.
"Just find him. I already have a plan. The power system of this world is quite unique. After death, I will transform all of you into another kind of being."
"Your strength will then grow and undergo a transformation."
Kenpachi Chengdui said.
Those words immediately piqued Paul and the others' curiosity.
Kenpachi Chengdui's idea wasn't entirely wrong.
But unfortunately, he did not yet fully understand the world of the Shinigami.
What he understood was merely the immense power he himself had gained after abandoning his physical body.
Thus, he assumed his people could obtain the same.
However, for living beings, unless under special circumstances, the body is always just as important as the soul.
This was also why Qin Yi was able to unify body and soul into one and transform into the King of Hell.
Abandoning his own body to become a Shinigami was one thing,
but ordering his subordinates to also become Shinigami was undeniably leading Kenpachi Chengdui down a misguided path, one from which he was straying farther and farther.
This was the consequence of not understanding either an unfamiliar world or even one's own.
He could no longer distinguish what was beneficial and what was harmful.
In truth, every world's power system has points where it can be integrated with others.
The more worlds one experiences, and the more resources one accumulates, the more necessary it becomes to categorize and unify these powers into a coherent system.
That was what a true King should do.
But it was also exceedingly difficult.
Qin Yi, on the other hand, never demanded that his subordinates abandon one power in order to gain another.
What he advocated was flourishing diversity, parallel development, and mutual integration.
He firmly believed that the more paths one possessed, the broader the road ahead would become.
After hearing Kenpachi Chengdui's words, Paul nodded and crushed the vial in his hand.
The bright-red blood was immediately exposed before him.
He pinched a drop between his fingers and quickly placed it into his mouth, sucking on it.
In an instant, crimson light burst forth from his body.
The moment he saw the light appear, Paul immediately pulled a wand from his waist.
"Light that travels between crimson and darkness, guide me to the location of your master!"
He muttered softly.
The red light grew brighter and brighter, until even Paul's green pupils were stained red.
The others waited silently.
After roughly five or six minutes, Paul's eyes returned to green, and a smile curled onto his lips.
"I saw it, My King. According to this world's terminology, he seems to be in Hueco Mundo!"
"Hueco Mundo?!"
Kenpachi Chengdui froze.
"What is he doing there?"
He absolutely refused to believe that guy had somehow degenerated into becoming a Hollow.
"But, My King, that isn't the most important thing I discovered!"
"The real issue is that the entirety of Hueco Mundo has already become his territory!"
"This time, your target is definitely not an easy opponent to deal with!"
As Paul continued smiling, his tone gradually became serious.
During his brief investigation, he had sensed quite a few experts within that desolate Hueco Mundo.
More importantly, the place was filled with an extremely familiar aura,
the aura of a King's power spreading outward.
Where a King's power reaches, there lies the King's territory.
Paul understood this principle very well, which was why he made such a judgment.
"That guy actually managed to rule all of Hueco Mundo in such a short amount of time?!"
Kenpachi Chengdui said in shock, while his heart sank heavily.
During their previous battle, he had already realized how troublesome this opponent was.
Even though he had entered this world several hundred years earlier than Qin Yi, he still felt intense pressure and urgency from him.
Yet he had never expected that in such a short time, the other party would accomplish something so enormous.
"Hueco Mundo is nothing more than a place where Hollows roam. What possible use is there in ruling such a place?"
Kenpachi Chengdui was even more puzzled now, unable to understand Qin Yi's actions.
"As far as I know, your enemy King has already gathered a group of powerful subordinates."
"They are not the slightest bit weaker than us, or perhaps even you!"
Paul's expression sharpened as he spoke gravely.
"Hueco Mundo has experts that powerful?"
"No, even if it did, they should all be irrational, frenzied monsters. How could such creatures possibly be commanded or ruled?"
Kenpachi Chengdui said in disbelief.
"You're mistaken, My King."
"That group of experts is highly rational. They possess human bodies, though their essence is not human."
"In fact, their nature seems to be the exact opposite of your current state."
Paul explained.
"Hollows!"
Kenpachi Chengdui sucked in a cold breath, shocked.
He had finally realized that he seemed to have overlooked something,
and had instead fallen into even deeper confusion.
Why?
Why did those monsters suddenly gain awareness and reason after that man went to Hueco Mundo?
Why had that man not focused on Soul Society, but instead chosen to go to Hueco Mundo?
In terms of overall strength, Hueco Mundo was not inferior to Soul Society in the slightest.
The only reason Soul Society had never paid too much attention to it was because Hollows generally lacked intelligence, behaving merely like beasts or animals.
As for Kenpachi Chengdui, from the moment he arrived in this world, he had set his sights directly on Soul Society.
That impression had already become deeply ingrained in his mind, impossible to change.
That was why he didn't understand.
And his lack of understanding stemmed from one simple truth,
he fundamentally did not understand this world.
In fact, any King who came here likely wouldn't understand either.
Some might even perform worse than Kenpachi Chengdui.
"Is it possible to sneak into Soul Society and assassinate that man?"
Kenpachi Chengdui took a deep breath, fully realizing Qin Yi's cunning and danger, and asked without hesitation.
"A direct assault on the enemy King, an execution of a decapitation operation?"
"In that case, Golosen, Aloradalia, and Senbak, the trio, would likely be more suitable for such a mission."
Paul suggested.
"Good. Then send those three!"
Kenpachi Chengdui said solemnly.
Narrowing his eyes, he let out a series of cold sneers.
"He is carrying out the King's Path, turning Hueco Mundo into his own domain!"
"But at the same time, that also means his kingdom is completely exposed to us!"
"In my view, he is simply courting death!"
"Once we kill him and launch a national war, the world on the other side will all belong to me!"
