Vasto Lorde, it could be said to be the ultimate dream of all Hollows in Hueco Mundo.
From the moment they are born, they devour one another. Dozens, even hundreds of them, merge their power to grow into a Great Hollow, and after thousands of years of prolonged fusion, they become Adjuchas. By that stage, many Hollows have already reached their limit. The Vasto Lorde level is almost an unattainable dream for them.
And once one becomes a Vasto Lorde, they are already a Hollow King-level existence within Hueco Mundo!
Yet the person before him was actually saying that he could help a Hollow evolve into a Vasto Lorde?!
"Is what you said true?"
Coyote Starrk asked solemnly. He completely ignored the long blade pressed against his neck and stared straight at Qin Yi.
This was far too shocking. If the man before him could truly help him evolve successfully, it would be nothing short of a miracle for all of Hueco Mundo! He could already imagine that this person would soon take control of the entire Hueco Mundo.
"Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez hadn't even reached the Adjuchas level before, you know that."
Qin Yi didn't answer directly. Instead, he shifted his gaze toward Grimmjow.
The latter let out a cold snort. Under Coyote's gaze, he spoke calmly:
"It was Master who helped me evolve into an Arrancar, reaching the Adjuchas level!"
With just that one sentence, Coyote's pupils shrank. Without the slightest hesitation, he nodded immediately.
"I submit to you!"
He was far less arrogant and unrestrained than Grimmjow. He clearly understood what it meant to break through his limits.
"Very good!" Qin Yi said with satisfaction.
The powerful beings in Hueco Mundo, once they reached this level of cultivation, were no longer mindless beasts. They had become higher lifeforms, possessing judgment and simple emotions. For Qin Yi, this made them much easier to control.
He didn't fear that they had desires; what he feared was those who had none.
Soon after, at Qin Yi's signal, Grimmjow withdrew his blade. Qin Yi wasted no time and helped Coyote complete his evolution.
Coyote had a gentle personality and spoke little. From then on, he followed Qin Yi, becoming his subordinate and addressing him as "Boss."
He was also deeply grateful to Qin Yi for helping him evolve into the power of a Vasto Lorde, and his loyalty was absolute.
Of course, during the evolution process, just like in the original story, he split into Lilynette Gingerbuck, a petite girl with light green short hair, about 1.4 meters tall.
"It seems we'll be gaining quite a few companions next!"
With three people now behind him, Qin Yi's eyes lit up, and a faint smile appeared on his lips.
"Then let's just take over the entire Las Noches, Master. I'd be more than happy to!"
Grimmjow grinned, his eyes fixed on Las Noches in the distance, his dominance and desire completely undisguised.
"Boss, I am willing to serve you," Coyote said gently.
After taking on human forms, their beastly nature had faded, and they had become much more rational. After advancing another three thousand meters, the four of them encountered another candidate for the Espada.
"Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck!" A red glint flashed in Qin Yi's eyes as he slowly walked forward.
By this time, Nelliel's evolution was already relatively complete. Her lower body was beast-like, while her upper body was humanoid, like a centaur from myth, holding a closed umbrella-shaped weapon in one hand.
Seeing Qin Yi approach, Nelliel did not attack immediately. Instead, she asked calmly, with a hint of gentleness:
"Who are you?"
Her gaze swept across the group. From their aura, she recognized Coyote and Grimmjow, giving them a few extra looks.
"I intend to unify all of Las Noches. I know you dislike war, but I still advise you to join my ranks." Qin Yi smiled faintly, choosing negotiation first.
"Become your subordinate?" Nelliel fell into thought.
"I can help you go further, become a Vasto Lorde, and gain emotions and rationality no different from humans."
A red light flashed in Qin Yi's eyes as he stared at her.
"Isn't that what you want most?"
Because he understood her, Qin Yi directly targeted her weakness.
"Really?"
Nelliel was moved, asking with anticipation.
"Look at them, do they not already resemble humans?"
Qin Yi stepped aside, gesturing toward Grimmjow and Coyote. One snorted coldly, while the other greeted Nelliel gently.
"I'm willing to become your subordinate, please turn me into a human as well!"
Nelliel said loudly, her voice filled with urgency and excitement.
"Although I don't want to admit it, you're still a Hollow, not some human!"
"However, aside from your immense strength and near-infinite lifespan, in terms of emotions, you can indeed be said to be no different from humans."
Qin Yi waved his hand and spoke bluntly.
"I don't mind that! Hurry and help me!" Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck said eagerly.
Qin Yi chuckled. He knew she was the easiest to persuade, and she also possessed considerable power.
Without delay, he activated the power of the King of Hell. Accompanied by a thunderous roar, in the next moment, a perfectly evolved Arrancar form of Nelliel appeared.
Unlike in the original story, Nelliel's state was now completely stable. She had stepped into the Vasto Lorde level, immensely powerful.
Her lake-green hair flowed freely, her golden-green eyes shone brightly, and a rose-colored marking adorned her face. A white skull mask rested atop her head. Her tall, well-proportioned figure gave her the appearance of a mature woman, there was no trace of a Hollow left at all.
"I really… really became human! This is amazing!" Nelliel touched herself, jumping excitedly.
"Haha, congratulations, Nel. I hope you're satisfied with your current state." Qin Yi said with a smile.
"Thank you, thank you so much." Nelliel expressed her gratitude sincerely and politely.
She gave off the impression of a dignified, righteous female knight.
"Then, let's continue onward!" Qin Yi said with a grin.
They set out again, and three days later, several more figures had joined Qin Yi's side:
Tier Harribel (3rd Espada),
Nnoitra Gilga (5th Espada),
Szayelaporro Granz (8th Espada),
Aaroniero Arruruerie (9th Espada).
At this point, aside from a few exceptions, nearly all of the Espada had already fallen under Qin Yi's command.
There were also many unnamed subordinates whom Qin Yi had casually appointed on a whim.
By the fourth day, Las Noches was clearly visible before them.
Beneath the crescent moon, Las Noches appeared pale and eerie, merging with the surrounding shadows to form a uniquely oppressive beauty.
"Heh, Master, that's Las Noches. Let's charge in together and take down that old man, Baraggan Louisenbairn. From now on, this place will be ours!"
Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez said with a cold grin, one hand in his pocket.
"Boss, I agree with Grimmjow. Victory is right in front of us." Coyote Starrk opened his eyes and nodded.
Qin Yi glanced around and saw that all the Arrancars were eager for battle.
"Heh… then I'll leave it to you."
With that single sentence, the Arrancars immediately showed excitement and exhilaration.
But just then, a figure suddenly stepped out from Las Noches, causing them to halt.
"Ulquiorra Cifer!"
Qin Yi's gaze sharpened, and then a smile spread across his lips.
