"Red of the Aloof, Patrick Redfield!"
The first figure to appear shocked No. 8 to his core. As he recognized all six individuals, his heart began to race.
"World Destroyer World!"
"Crazed Demon Reed Senxus, the powerhouse who trained Zoan users to awakening level!"
"Master of Busoshoku and Kenbunshoku Haki, the Monster Monk Doro, creator of the Monster Fist!"
"Gunner, Albrick!"
"And finally, the great swordsman Agson."
No. 8 recited their names one by one, his shock growing with each revelation.
He had witnessed this opponent kill these six individuals back in Impel Down prison. But he never imagined they would be freed here.
"I need six powerful clones, and these six are perfect for the job!" Rojen said with a faint smile, meeting No. 8's shocked gaze.
Creating the Six Paths requires time; it can't be done instantly. By selecting these six individuals now, he was also considering their respective roles.
"Redfield, originally a powerhouse with the Zoan Mythological Beast Vampire Fruit."
"Can he drain blood? The Human Path can absorb souls, so he'll be assigned there."
"World, the user of the Moa Moa no Mi (More-More Fruit) Devil Fruit, will be the Animal Path."
"Crazed Demon Reed Senxus, the Zoan Mythological Beast Ox Demon Fruit Devil Fruit User, will be the Preta Path!"
"Gunner, Albrick, Asura Path."
"The great swordsman Agson, Naraka Path!"
With lightning speed, Rojen assigned the five corpses to their respective paths. He immediately activated the Rinnegan's power, temporarily stimulating the vital energy within their bodies.
As their life force surged, the Devil Fruit powers that had been dissipating began to coalesce anew. Of course, this activation didn't truly revive them; it merely preserved their physical vitality. Their souls had long since been devoured by the Six Paths.
"Finally, Monster Monk Doro, Deva Path!"
A smile spread across Rojen's face. When all Six Paths were complete, they would undoubtedly unleash an overwhelming force. Even in life, these six individuals possessed extraordinary power. Though their strength would be diminished in clone form, each would retain the unique, formidable characteristics of their respective path.
When that time came, Rojen would become a unified entity of six. Any enemy wishing to defeat him would first have to overcome these six guardians!
"First, create the Deva Path."
With a wave of his hand, the remaining five corpses vanished, leaving only Monster Monk Doro, who would become the Deva Path.
Rojen's hand moved, and pitch-black metal rods appeared, some thick, some thin; some long, some short. He began inserting these rods into Doro's body, performing secret techniques to fuse them together.
The scene was brutal and bloody, causing the nearby Marines to tremble, their fear-stricken eyes perceiving Rojen as a great demon lord.
"These six were all merciless brutes in life. I never imagined you'd turn them into clones after death," No. 8 sighed, his expression conflicted.
A week later, when the Marines' warship arrived at Water 7, Rojen stood beside a bald monk whose entire body was covered in pitch-black metal rods, his face coldly expressionless.
"Is this clone... alive?" No. 8 kept glancing at Doro, his eyes filled with suspicion.
"Only darkness holds the future!"
Hearing No. 8's words, Doro turned, his cold eyes locking onto No. 8, sending a chill down his spine.
"This guy... he's strong!" No. 8 thought, sensing Doro's formidable presence.
The two quickly jumped off the warship and raced toward Tom's Workers.
When Rojen appeared before Tom, the old man, now noticeably more weathered than four years ago, froze for a moment before erupting into laughter.
"Ha ha ha ha! I knew you wouldn't let the Marines catch you so easily!"
He laughed so hard that tears streamed from his eyes.
"Mr. Tom, I've come for my ship," Rojen said with a smile.
"Excellent! Your ship is already built! It's been waiting for you for four long years!" Tom boomed.
Knowing Rojen's sensitive status, Tom wasted no time. He rose and led the pair toward the shipyard's warehouse. As they reached the shipyard's inner harbor, Rojen and No. 8 saw a ship shrouded in canvas.
"There it is, waiting patiently for you... for four years!"
Tom sighed, pointing at the ship ahead.
Rojen gazed up at the vessel, his emotions a complex mix of feelings he couldn't quite understand.
Four years ago, he had been an immature seventeen-year-old boy. Now, standing at 1.8 meters tall, his physique was robust, his imposing demeanor a blend of composure and raw power. He had become a true powerhouse.
It was only at this moment that Rojen realized the timing was perfect.
His strength now qualified him to command such a ship, to sail, to adventure, to witness the grandeur of the sea alongside his companions.
Four years ago, he had been far too inexperienced.
In the harbor ahead, the medium-sized ship lay still, capable of accommodating two hundred people, it was no small vessel by any measure. Veiled beneath a canvas, its full form remained obscured, yet even the glimpse of its magnificence through a corner of Madara Lan's veil revealed its grandeur.
Soon, the workers of Tom's Workers swarmed aboard the ship, hoisting the canvas away and revealing the vessel in all its glory to the assembled crowd.
"Is this my ship?" Rojen murmured, gazing at the vessel before him.
"Indeed, this is your ship," Tom declared proudly. He dared to guarantee that this was the greatest masterpiece he had ever created in his life.
"The ship is armed with ninety-nine small cannons, strategically placed around the perimeter. At its center stands the main cannon, capable of shattering a small-scale island with a single blast when charged with sufficient energy."
"Furthermore, I've put a plot of land on the ship's deck, where you can grow flowers and herbs in your spare time."
"Of course, these aren't the most important features. What I'm most proud of is this ship's propulsion system!"
"Oh?" Rojen turned to Tom with keen interest.
"On the Sea Train, I relied on steam power. Therefore, I initially incorporated steam power into this new vessel as well."
"But after studying the ancient Pluton and the Sea Train, and through a chance discovery, I discovered a new form of kinetic energy."
"A new form of kinetic energy?" Rojen asked curiously.
"Indeed, it's lightning! By sheer accident, I found that lightning also possesses tremendous kinetic energy."
"So, later on, I integrated an electrical energy system into the design as well," Mr. Tom exclaimed excitedly.
"Do you realize, Rojen? With sufficient power, this new ship rivals—no, it even surpasses Pluton!"
"This is undoubtedly the crowning achievement of my life!"
Listening to Mr. Tom's words, Rojen felt a mixture of awe and speechlessness.
He never imagined the old man had actually developed an electrical energy system. Having traveled from the 21st century, Rojen was acutely aware of electrical energy's immense power.
This was a black technology that completely transcended the steam era—a technological leap of an entire age!
