Ethan first gave them a quick tour of the teleportation room, dining hall, recreation room, training room, and living quarters. Most importantly, he took them to the equipment area to receive their personal gear, including a multifunctional device for communication, positioning, and personal storage, as well as basic combat suits and other equipment.
With the multifunctional device, they could contact anyone at any time. Luna would also create personal profiles and data files for them, so even if they became lost on the spaceship, they could rely on Luna's guidance to return to a familiar area.
"I never imagined the spaceship you live on would be so advanced."
"The Dragon Ball world is also very advanced. It's just that many things haven't been invented because of different approaches to technology."
Every facility aboard the Venus fully demonstrated the meaning of "convenience." Yoruichi did not feel much yet, but living here should be very comfortable. She had originally worried that there would not be enough space, since the interiors of spaceships in the Dragon Ball world were not particularly spacious. However, she soon discovered that this spaceship had an extremely roomy interior, while very few people actually lived aboard it.
"Don't you have many companions? Why haven't I seen any of them?"
After receiving their basic equipment, the two women changed into their combat suits to try them on, but soon changed back into their usual casual clothes.
"They're normally busy with their own affairs or staying in worlds they like."
"Is the spaceship usually empty?"
"Originally, Nebula and Betty stayed aboard the ship most of the time, but Betty found her long-lost relatives recently, so she isn't here anymore."
"Oh?"
Seeing that they were interested, Ethan briefly recounted Betty's story. After hearing that Betty had fallen into a deep sleep during an exam and remained asleep for so many years before being accidentally rescued by Ethan as he passed by, they did not know whether to call the girl unfortunate or lucky.
"She should be considered lucky!"
At the very least, she had met Ethan. Not only had she managed to find her relatives, but she had also become friends with someone as unusual as Ethan. The benefits she had received would probably make many people envious.
"So now only the one called Nebula is left?"
"And Sherry. She hasn't been running around lately and has been staying on the ship."
Ethan was not entirely certain. Perhaps Sherry had gone to another world to play while he was in the God Country. He directly asked Luna and discovered that not only was Sherry aboard the ship, but Logan had also returned with Atlanna and Laura.
"The ship is quite lively today."
After confirming that they were currently in the recreation room, Ethan led the two women back there. They had not encountered them during the earlier tour, so they must have just missed one another.
When Ethan appeared, everyone was somewhat surprised.
"Weren't you hiding away in the God Country, working on it?"
Ethan had even sent a message informing everyone beforehand, so they had not expected him to come out so soon. Had he already finished?
"The God Country is still being perfected. I used some free time to pick up these two."
Without any further explanation, everyone understood. Ethan had visited several worlds in the Main God Universe and "tricked" two women into joining him. Now they were finally meeting them in person.
"This is Shihouin Yoruichi, and this is Bulma."
Everyone aboard the ship already knew about the two of them. This introduction was mainly for Yoruichi and Bulma to meet Ethan's companions. Since there were not many people aboard the ship at the moment, it was more suitable. They could become familiar with a few people first, then meet the others later. Meeting a large group all at once would make it harder for them to fit in.
Emiya Shirou had done the same after joining. He first became familiar with Laura and Sherry, the two younger members, before gradually interacting more with everyone else.
After the introductions, Yoruichi and Bulma quickly understood the relationships between the people present.
Laura was, in a sense, Logan's child, while Atlanna was his current girlfriend.
Atlanna was also the queen of an underwater kingdom called Atlantis.
As for Sherry, she had originally been an ordinary child. She had joined Ethan's group when she was still quite young. Her mother had voluntarily proposed joining at the time, while Sherry had simply come along with her.
Sherry had lived aboard the ship for many years, learning a great deal and undergoing enhancements and training. She possessed considerable strength and was skilled in using many cold weapons, firearms, and various high-tech devices.
Because of her mother, Sherry also understood a great deal of scientific knowledge and could be considered an all-rounder. However, this all-rounder was currently holding a pile of snacks and eating nonstop. Bulma even wondered whether Sherry had developed bulimia.
"Don't worry. Once you use the enhancement potion, you'll find that your body will become much healthier and won't deteriorate."
"No, it can still deteriorate!"
Before Bulma could even feel relieved, Ethan immediately corrected her.
"The enhancement potion only improves your physical qualities and potential. The basic potion won't cause any earth-shattering changes to your body."
Only after reaching a higher realm, when the body's absorption, utilization, and storage of energy underwent fundamental changes, could someone truly stop worrying about such things.
"Like you are now?"
"Exactly, like me!"
Ethan casually snatched Sherry's snacks and began eating them himself.
"Sherry, if you want to eat snacks without worrying about anything, you'll need to work harder to improve your strength and realm."
"Tsk!"
After finishing the last bite, Ethan clapped his hands, casually used a small cleaning spell on himself, then left Bulma and Yoruichi in Sherry's care.
"Yoruichi doesn't need a basic enhancement, but Bulma needs to use the basic enhancement potion. I'll leave that to you."
Having Sherry handle the matter would help Yoruichi and Bulma better adjust to life aboard the ship. If possible, Ethan also hoped Sherry would take the two women to explore other worlds.
"If you're leaving this to me, what are you going to do?"
"Of course I'm going to continue upgrading and perfecting the God Country. What else would I be doing?"
He did want to stay and have a deeper conversation with the two women, but unfortunately, Yoruichi and Bulma had both made it clear that it would not be so easy for him to "eat" them.
This was obviously going to be a long-term task. In any case, Ethan had plenty of time, so handling the important matters first was more sensible.
Before leaving, Ethan secretly exchanged a glance with Logan. Logan understood immediately, rolled his eyes, then gave him a reassuring look.
Ethan had signaled Logan because Logan was currently stationed in the DC world for long periods. Although Diana and Yoruichi should not fight, it would still be better for Logan to keep an eye on things, just in case.
As long as they did not actually start fighting, everything would be fine.
After returning to the God Country, Ethan checked the world's core. Since not much time had passed, the energy universes he had connected before leaving had not yet been completely drained.
The world's core was still slowly drawing in energy to replenish the God Country. To achieve Ethan's basic goal, it would not be enough to drain the energy from only these few worlds. He would still need to find more.
He conveniently established connections between the worlds he had brought back this time and the God Country. If anyone with nothing better to do had paid attention to the night sky, they would have noticed three additional stars.
After completing these arrangements, Ethan began a long vigil there. He spread his divine senses into the endless void, searching for suitable energy-rich worlds that lacked intelligent life.
The more worlds he found, the faster the God Country could naturally extract energy. Once an ocean of energy formed throughout the entire region around the core, his initial goal would be achieved.
"It seems this work is much more troublesome than I imagined."
In truth, it was exactly that troublesome. Worlds that met Ethan's requirements were difficult to find. He could only remain there for a long time, constantly wandering through the void in search of every world from which he could extract energy.
At first, he was somewhat selective. Later, he realized that he had no room to be picky at all and even connected the weaker universes he had initially looked down upon.
Now, he did not want to waste even the smallest amount of energy. He did not even discard the remnants left behind after those small worlds had been completely drained, casually collecting them for future use.
Although these world remnants had become "dead matter," that did not make them useless. Ethan discovered that the material was incredibly durable and particularly suitable for construction.
He had been debating what materials to use when building residences. Ordinary materials probably would not survive the increasingly powerful antics of everyone living there. Then he suddenly realized that these world remnants were perfect.
After spending an unknown amount of time within the core of the God Country, Ethan realized that it would be difficult to find any more energy-rich worlds in the near future. He teleported outside, intending to clear his mind and improve his mood.
He also wanted to search for a suitable place to live.
He had previously decided to live on a floating mountain, but changing his mind would not matter if he found a more suitable location.
This time, he did not observe the world from the sky as he had before. Instead, like Merlin, he strolled across the ground while admiring the different landscapes.
"As expected of my God Country. Every part of this world perfectly matches my preferences."
After all, Ethan had created the God Country, so it had inevitably been influenced by his tastes.
"This mountain peak is nice. How about living on the mountain?"
After thinking about it more carefully, this seemed no different from living on a floating mountain, and perhaps it would even be less convenient. A floating mountain could move, so if he grew tired of the scenery in one place, he could relocate it to another area.
After rejecting that location, Ethan prepared to head toward the snowy plains, but then received a message from Illya.
He thought for a moment and did not leave. Instead, he casually opened a portal, and Illya immediately walked through it.
"Are you on vacation?"
"Mm!" Illya looked around, seemingly curious about everything. "I heard you finished the God Country, so I wanted to come and take a look... It seems a little desolate."
"This area is simply like this. I can take you to see the forests, grasslands, or coast if you'd like."
Ethan then pointed toward the sky.
"Or we could visit those floating mountains."
"Oh, that sounds interesting!"
(To be continued.)
