Chapter 1 - A new horizon from a meadow

In an archipelago located on the east of the world, the Philippines and its residents slowly await the coming of the new year, 2026. Loud instruments would play in the streets, and fireworks would fill up the sky, illuminating it in an aesthetic fashion. The lights were beautiful and as warm as the morning sun.

Some people stay in their homes asleep, some enjoy it from their balcony with a cup of coffee, some run around the streets with glee and excitement on their faces, and some gently admire their surroundings.

In a secluded area, not that far away from the town, there is a bridge above a tiny river where a young man sat quietly looking up at the sky, his eyes reflecting the colorful fireworks. He stayed there for a good 3 minutes in serenity.

Then, a whisper in his right—

"Elio—"

"AAAAAAAH!"

"AAAAAAAH!"

"...Oh—phew. It's just you Cassian... Damn. You have to stop doing that. You looked like some cursed creature or something. Remember that movie last time where an exorcist couple exorcised the demon by saying its name?"

"You mean the really tall demon with the pink hat and suit?"

"Yeah! That one!"

"If I looked like that, I would've already auditioned for the sequel. We really have to hurry up though. Lila Hearth is not going to like it with you standing around here with a blank look on your face."

Cassian held out his hand and helped him up.

"Did she buy the fireworks already? I thought we were going to eat."

"She's really, really excited so we have to see her now or else we're the ones being sent up the sky."

Elio chuckled. He dusted off some dirt on his pants, then light shined in the sky, as if tomorrow suddenly came. It was gentle, and confused both Elio and Cassian.

"Cas—Cassian... what is that?"

"...It doesn't look like fireworks, maybe a drone?" Unsure what to answer, Cassian stayed there, staring at that light. Elio looked at Cassian, realizing the same confusion was painted on his face. At first glance, it seemed like a floating orb of light, stagnant in the air. For Elio, however, there was depth to that orb of light. Inside was what seemed like a tunnel.

"HEEEEEYYYY!!!! WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING????" Lila shouted from a distance. As she walked closer and closer, she realized both of them were mesmerized by something—a glowing orb of light. Cassian snapped back and turned his head towards her.

"Lila Hearth... any idea what the hell that is?"

"Maybe a very, very, VERY large firefly? I d-don't know. Let's get out of here, that doesn't look... normal." Fear slowly painted on her face.

Cassian looked over at Elio. He saw in his eyes wonder and curiosity. He sighed and said, "Let's take a picture, Elio, so we can study it later, but we should leave it alone, no?"

"O-oh right!!" Elio set his phone camera on the orb of light when suddenly, the orb shone brightly like the sun at noon. The surroundings turned to day with strong winds like a hurricane. Elio was pushed back, but Lila Hearth managed to support him. Cassian, however, was flung into the air.

In what seemed like they themselves were about to be swept up too, the winds became gentle, from hurricane to breeze. Elio, grunting, opened his eyes, adjusting to the bright light in his surroundings. The night sky turned bright blue as the sun rose up above and mountains in the far distance covered the horizon. They were no longer on the bridge but on top of a green hill, crouched below an oaken tree. Under the hill is a meadow filled with green grass swaying on a gentle breeze. A road splits the meadow not that far from the hill, which leads to a forest.

Lila grabbed Elio's arm and shook him.

"WHERE ARE WE????"

"I-I... have no idea..." Elio scanned his surroundings better. "Wow... Lila, this place is beautiful! How did we even get here?" His eyes sparkled with wonder and awe. His confused and scared expression turned into a smile like a child gifted a new toy.

Seeing Elio mesmerized by the place, Lila was about to get mad when she realized it herself. She did as what Elio is doing watching the beautiful scenery when a flock of doves swept over them. A dove's feather fell and gently landed on Lila's hand. A new perspective came over her and her heart began to settle. She glanced over at Elio again, now his eyes are fixated on the doves that went by them. She thought, 'There he goes; nothing stops him when curiosity takes over. I wish Cassian was here, maybe have someone I can talk about this with. Wait—'

"Cassian!" Lila suddenly blurted out. "Elio! Where's Cassian!?"

Elio snapped out of his daze, and worry came back to him. "Oh right! Cassian! Cassian!! Where are you!?"

Lila soon followed "Answer us Cassian!"

A rustling came from above, the leaves shook, and there came a familiar face. Cassian groaned in pain, "Ugggh... I need help"

Both Elio and Lila were surprised and a laugh came after.

"CASSIAN!"

"Whattup. Please help me."

They both laughed, and as Cassian slowly began to descend from the tree, he fell on top of them both. Luckily, Lila was strong enough to support Cassian to avoid rolling down the hill but suddenly, Elio slipped dragging Cassion down and Lila who kept on holding to Cassian, fell down as well.

They tumbled like a wheel down the hill onto the meadow.

"Pftt-- AHAHAHA, that was messed up, how the hell did you slip on grass?"

Hearing Cassian's laugh always seemed to calm Elio, even in this weird situation. Elio even laughed as well. Lila was grumpy, as she shook of some grass on her shoulders, but hearing the two laugh it off, her anger dissipated.

"Well, well, well, the consequences of our actions, when a glowing orb of light comes in the middle of the night: don't mess around and find out."

Cassian's words made Elio think back to that moment ago before they were transported. He thought, 'a glowing light shining brighter and brighter, then suddenly winds strong enough to blew Cassian up—well, he is pretty skinny so not that strong, but still! What happened back there? How were we transported? Is this like a portal to a different dimension? or a different world? Maybe we were just transported somewhere here on Earth? Is teleportation really possible? Who is responsible then? What could they achieve by sending us? or is just random, a weapon's test?'

Elio was lost in thought. Cassian and Lila both knew that Elio would be pretty hard to disturb once he gets lost in his own questions. Lila turned to Cassian.

"Cassian...what...do we do?" Uncertainties began to cultivate worry in Lila's heart. Soon, even she might get lost in her own thoughts like Elio, but hers would be crushing her own confidence.

"Well, there is a road just over there, meaning there might be people. Let's go ask them, bet we can find some answers." Cassian shrugged of his shoulders. He stood up and offered his hand to Lila. Lila's worry, did not go away, but seeing that hand, and eyes of Cassian that says "Let's just keep going", made her thought, 'Heh, look at him, trying to act all calm and positive.'

"Alright, let's go Cassy" Lila took his hand. Cassian almost fell himself trying to help Lila up, which made Lila laugh as he slapped Cassian's shoulder. He held his hand out for Elio too, "Come on Elio, let's explore a bit."

Elio snapped back from his daze and took Cassian's hand up. They all went to the side of the road and began to plan their next action. On their left, the road leads far into the distance and over the horizon with nothing but grass and clear skies as far as the eye can see. On their right, a forest with large oaken trees. Cassian began to think, 'Well, what now? This place seems like Switzerland or something. Lila's panicking and Elio seems to be dissociating if we don't do something. Both roads leads to who knows and what, but what seems like true for now is that we are not getting out of here in just a few hours. Rain might come, we have no food or shelter, we don't have location on where we are. The forest here might lead to some wild animals but we might find some food and build a shelter, we have Elio so we got survival skills, but walking down the meadow would be safer.'

Lila suddenly remembered, "Wait! Have you checked your phones?" She took out hers and so did the other two. Even though they all charged their phones before lighting up the fireworks, they still have no power left. "What the hell? I made sure to charge this before I went out," Lila cursed.

"Yeah, no battery for me either." Cassian puts his phone back in his pocket and looked over the horizon once again.

Elio crouched and began to observe the road. There were thin shallow grooves, and some hoof prints "What is this?"

Elio slowly recognized a pattern upon closer inspection. Tracks! tracks that appeared to be from a wheel going into the direction of the forrest.

Cassian and Lila both looked over.

"There are tracks on this road, seems like the day before. Looks like a wheel but very thin. These hoof prints definetely from a horse, quite large of a horse even"

"That... doesn't look like rubber, and it's quite deep so it must be carrying something heavy."

Elio begins to ponder 'Heavy, hoof prints, and thin wheels, going along in the middle of a meadow, must be a farmer carrying crops? He's transporting something, but why like this? Isn't it faster to just go use a truck?'

Cassian looked over the forrest and then the meadow. 'Seems like forrest is the right choice. If those guys are travelling by wagon of some sort carrying a bunch of stuff, then depending on this forrest, they might ave set up camp for the night. We might be able to catch up. Still, I want to know how far we're going to travel.' He glanced over his surroundings, in which he saw the tree again up on that hill. 'That might work'

"Elio, can you climb that tree? Maybe you can get a good view up there?"

Both Elio and Lila agreed. They went back up to that hill where Elio could climb the tree. Elio began to ascend, focused and careful not to fall. Cassian and Lila prepared themselves to catch Elio whenever he may slip.

"Careful man! Use that branch!"

"If you have the balls to coach him, why don't you have the balls to climb up yourself?"

"Remember pull-ups last P.E class?"

"Pfft--HAHAHAHA, YOU COULDN'T DO A SINGLE ONE! You hanged there for like 15 seconds and fell!" Lila slapped Cassian in the shoulder and laughed her heart out. Even Elio, who heared their conversation almost lost grip laughing. Cassian let out a chuckle, 'Well, they seem to be doing better. Why me messing up makes them happy though?'

Elio finally reached a good vantage point and began to look over the forrest.

"Wow"

The wind took Elio's breath to their own currents. A town like those in medeivial fantasy, with walls made of cobblestones. It was something he only saw in movies, something he only saw in dreams is now in sight of him. Even though he couldn't see clearly, there were definitely people in the town. Strangely, somethings is flickering among the townsfolk.

"Where are we, really? Is there really such a place on Earth? England? But they seem so ancient. Those lights, blue, yellow, orange, red like fire, they're like that glowing orb that brought us here."

Elio stayed silent there, processing what he's seeing. He took some time that even Cassian and Lila began to notice.

Lila shouted, "Elio! Did you see anything?"

"O-Oh right! Uhmmm, there's uhmm, a town, over...there. Like an Old English Town...."

Lila's face lit up. "Hear that Cassy! We can go there for help!" She's jumping around celebrating. Cassian nodded, but he noticed something strange with Elio. Usually, ELio would be at awe at a beautiful scenery or art work, he would admire it in silence for long periods of time, now however, he seems to be thinking, figuring something out. 'There must be something strange going on that town if Elio's reacting like that.' Cassian glanced over Lila still celebrating. 'Still, that's our only choice now.'

"Let's check it out Elio!"

They both helped Elio come down the large tree, this time no tumbling down a hill occured. They entered the forrest following the tracks. Elio kept admiring the trees and even began to point out some of the fruits. Lila joined in and helped in identifying some herbs and that can be used as spices. It felt like they were on a field trip rather than lost in some unknown land.

"Well, why don't we take some?"

"What?" Both Elio and Lila were confused.

"We're going to an Old English Town, like in one of those medevial fantasies, no? We don't really have any money but maybe we could trade with those."

Lila rummaged through her pockets, only a 50 Peso bill and some coins. Elio did the same as well and ended up with a 100 peso bill, and Cassian with three 20 peso bills and some coins.

"Not much... I gues Cassian's right, we really don't have much money and we're not even sure if they'll accept the same currency." Lila puts back her money in her pocket. She looked over the herbs and berries and began to identify which one should they bring. Elio picked some tall grasses and began to weave them to make a basket.

Seeing the two of them work, Cassian thought to himself, 'Whoa, aren't I pretty useless'

"Cassian, help me pick of some grass, get some tall ones."

"Got it~"

They gathered all they could find before pressing on to their journey. As they kept walking they saw an abandoned campfire, charcoal were extinguished and black ash remained, but not all, a pattern was drawn under those charcoal which Elio is the first to notice. He crouched down, grabbed some leaves as a tissue, and moved some of the burnt charcoal away.

"What is this?" Elio pondered observing the pattern better. 'The pattern, a sun within a sun, and around the little sun seems like a combination of runes. They're not like those of Ancient Norse. Why would they need to draw a pattern on a campfire?'

"You know Cassy, this season is the season for mangoes! Let's get some when we get ba-- Elio? Why are you playing with charcoal?

Cassian, who was carrying the basket because he couldn't much to help in making the basket or gathering, looked at Elio crouching on the ground.

"There's something here, a pattern of so--"

*BANG* A loud thud echoed in the forrest then a tree in the distance shook. Elio stood up in shock, some smoke came from the tree that shook.

A word escaped from Lila's breath, "Fire". When it comes to senses, Lila had always been the sharper of the three. Her experience in cooking allowed her to develop her sense of smell and taste to be able to distinguished good quality of ingridients, and also when a dish she's cooking is about to get burnt.

"Cassy... something's burnt..."

"T-This doesn't feel right, Cassian.

Cassian took a deep breath. "Let's keep our heads down for a bit. Walk to that tree, four trees before that one tree that's smoking."

As they moved slowly, a roar came from a distance. It shook the trees and birds hurriedly flew away. Elio, watched those birds, and the direction they were heading, South. In a panick, the three went behind the fifth tree and hid . Fear unnerved them as they began trembling.

Elio, was looking into the direction at which the sound came. Sparks flickered in the darkness, along with it are the glowing orbs that floats around violently.

"G-Guys, it's those orbs again! I saw them too at the town! T-They're multiple of them!"

Lila and Cassian both gazed into distance, a bunch of glowing orbs were floating around violently. At times, a flash like lightning or a blaze like fire could be seen. Shouts from that area reached their ears but they could not understand them.

"Cassy... What do we do?"

Cassian took another deep breath trying to steady his trembling hands. 'Man, aren't I a coward, hehe.' In and out, he kept taking long and deep breaths. Seeing this, both Elio and Lila copied him. The loud bangs and glowing orbs remained, but now, all three seemed to have a clearer perspective. Cassian looked over the smoking three, 'something must have hit that. We might find what's going if we check there. We don't have any clue on what the hell is happening but they seem pretty busy with all the shouting and flashing.'

"Elio, anywhere we can runaway?"

"South. Most birds went towards there, away from danger."

"Nice. Smell anything else, Lila?"

"Just... burnt metal with some *sniff* *sniff* fabric? I'm not sure... Why would there be burnt metal in a forrest?"

'Let's see here, running south leads away to the terrain and might get us lost but if Elio is with us, we'll just find our way back. Lila's pretty good with directions too so with them both we might find a way out of the forrest. Quite sad that whatever is happening on that other side of the forrest is something we might encounter on our own, we won't know anything about it, if we can even fight it.' Cassian looked at both Elio and Lila, they're calmer now yet fear still lays in their heart. 'We're not really the fighting type. We need to learn as much as we can for now. This might be our clue.'

"Let's check that tree out. Just keep quiet and we'll make it there."

Both Lila and Elio nodded. Cassian took the first steps towards the smoking tree. The flashes of light became even more violent followed by a deafening roar. That roar was so load, it held them back while covering their ears.

Elio growing more afraid and frustrated, "Can an animal really roar that loudly!?"

"Nothing! No animal even sounds like that!" Lila struggled the most out of the three, with her having the best hearing among them. The roaring stopped, and they managed to get to that tree. There, lies a man in metal plated armor, like a knight from a fantasy book, rests beside the trunk of the tree. Some of the knights armor is charred. The trunk was damaged as if a hard object smashed at it. The knight's body was faced in the direction of the flashing lights and roar.

'Seems like this knight was blown away from all the way over there. This is not looking good. If Shining Knight in armor can't win against that, then we aren't.'

In that direction, some trees fell down producing a large thud. The atmosphere is becoming tenser and tenser. The fear planted in their hearts began to grow.

Elio saw the knight, he was appaled by it. 'Is that really a knight? His armor is definitely real. The armor is charred, so this must be the burnt metal smell. Why is there a medieval knight at the middle of the forrest? Were we sent back in time where knights and lords exist? or are we in a different world???'

Lila was starting to hyperventilate. Whether by the knight or the loud roar, She started to get a picture of what was happening. 'Something... this knight was fighting something, and it blew the knight all the way here. No animal is capable of doing that, especially on a fully plated armor!'

Cassian took of the knights helmet. Under it lies a man in around mid twenties with a red colored beard. His skin was a bit tanned and his features where sharp.

Cassian light tapped on the man's cheeks trying to wake him up. "Hey! Hey man, wake up!"

"Is... is he... dead?"

Both Elio and Lila sat there frozen. Cassian put his fingers on the man's pulse, comfirming that the man is indeed still alive.

"Well, he's breathing. Come on man, wake up!" He tapped the man's cheeks again a few times. The man grunted and started to open his eyes.

"What the hell? Argh-- how did I get here? Those guys, I gotta go to them--(What the hell? Argh-- how did I get here? Those guys, I gotta go to them--) "

"What?" Cassian couldn't understand what the man was saying. He looked over to both Lila and Elio but they too couldn't understand the language.

The knight just then noticed the three. "Who are you people? (Who are you people?)"

They all looked confused at what the knight is saying. He then tried standing up but the pain was too much for him.

"Argh! *pant* *pant* We have a healer in our group, please help me get back to them! (Argh! *pant* *pant* We have a healer in our group, please help me get back to them!)" The man grasped Cassian's arms tightly. Cassian was stuck trying to figure out what to do. 'We have to get this man medical attention, go south like Elio said and ask him some questions. We can't understand what his saying but maybe with visual cues then-'

Suddenly, Lila went over to the knight's side and puts his around her shoulder. "Cassy, let's help him up." She looked the man in his eyes and said, "You want to go somewhere right? Maybe right back to them?" The knight met her gaze, felt the strength in her grip, and understood her intentions.

Cassian was stunned. He wasn't sure about Lila's guess on what the knight wanted, but not once did Lila's intution on people ever failed them. The knight gathered his strength and forced himself up with the help of both Lila and Cassian.

Elio held the basket and followed them, quietly examining the armor the knight was wearing. He thought, 'A language we don't know, it sounds similar to some Europian languages. Argh, I should have studied some more languages! Wait-- patterns! There are patterns again on his armor, on the back and the edges of his helmet as well. Some runes look the same like that one in the campfire earlier. Is it just for decor? Would a campfire even need a decor? Or maybe, maybe an enchantment of some sort?'

They soon got closer and closer to shouts and floating orbs. Figures begin to form in their vision, a woman with pointed ears wearing lavender robes with flower patterns on the side. The dress has a slit from her thight onto the edge. She wore a large purple witch hat and wielded a dark oaken staff. The edge of the staff glowed a fiery red. Each time she would wave her staff and a blaze of fire would come out. There was a man wearing a leather breastplate and leather boots, a green scarf wich covered half of his face and a cloak that covered the rest. The only thing that could be seen through that shade is the yellow glow fomr his eyes. He wielded two daggers shifting around like lightning with a trail of yellow light. In the far back, a maiden with blonde hair, her eyes like that of the ocean blue, wore a white robe and cleric's hat. She held the rests the staff in her palms as if to offer it, and began murmuring under her breath.

They were all facing a large monster; It's skin was green like the leaves and as it stood as large as half of the trees. It carried a large wooden club, moss wrapped around it like laces on a gift. It leaped at the woman wearing the large purple hat, raising its club before smashing it down. The ground shook from the force and dust spread over. A flash of yellow light emerged from the dust, the man carried the woman in the large hat away from the impact.

"Dammit! Big guy is doesn't even look tired, and here we are slowly running out of Goud. (Dammit! Big guy is doesn't even look tired, and here we are slowly running out of Goud.)"

The woman held the edge of her staff and said, "Buy me some time Hadeen. (Buy me some time Hadeen.)" Her hand began to glow red, and so with the staff.

"Heh, easier said than done. (Heh, easier said than done.)"

"We don't have a choice, its this or you should have made a move on that waiter before dying with regrets. (We don't have a choice, its this or you should have made a move on that waiter before dying with regrets.)"

The woman began to recite an incantation. The man called over the woman in white robes, "Sheva!"

Without another word, she began to recite an incantation as well. The air around the man began to swirl with small sparks of lightning. The man lunged towards the monster now much faster than before. The monster tried to swat him down but he missed and the man slit his dagger on the monster's shoulder. Blood spilled but the wound was shallow. The man kept dancing around the monster slashing its knees, elbows and ankles, but the monster remained standing.

Cassian, Elio, and Lila, were all frozen from their place. Elio's hands kept trembling. His eyes full of excitement. He could feel his hairs stood up. He remembered back in those days, sitting at his room looking towards the sky. All those days, day dreaming of magic and a fantasy world were now reality in front of him.

Lila's mind was turning blank as she began to hyperventilate again. The strength in her body wavered letting her fall to her knees. She grasped her chest, cold sweat trickled down her forehead. "Cassy... What... What.. on Earth is going on!?"

Cassian laid down the knight hidden in some bushes. He grabbed Lila's hand firmly, even if Lila's nails digs to his skin, he simply looked over the place at where the battle happening. 'Well, Lila is strong but, with how little we know and we could do, no doubt she's getting overwhelmed right now. That pretty sexy lady with pointed ears, she seems like she's charging up a Kamehameha or something, the guy is trying to keep that monster busy for the meantime, and girl in the white robes probably a support type. Damn, this looks like a DnD campaign but in real life. This knight then should be their tank. If that guy runs out of gas before the lady is ready, we're probably screwed ourselves. It's safer to go with these guys than just us three alone. Something that could distract that monster, even for a second would be good.' Cassian looked over the knight's armor.

"This might just work. Elio!"

Elio snapped back. He turned to look at Cassian handing him a bunch of tall grass.

Hadeen kept on dancing around the monster, slicing his blade across its skin but the thickness of its muscles resisted. Hadeen could feel the buff placed on him by Sheva slowly weaken and his muscles grow numb. Time is running out, yet only Hadeen seemed to be exhausted. The moment Hadeen was in front of the monster, it reached out its hand trying to grab Hadeen. Hadeen then, swirled around the hand and prepared to slice the monster's neck. It covered its throat with its hand but Hadeen never went through with his strike. The lower body, now vulnerable became the target of the blade.

A slit behind the knees managed to make the monster kneel.

"The bastard's finally down! Fei!"

The staff of the lady with the large witch hat burned bright, the most blazing fire stored in a single ball the size of the lady's palm. Her spell has been completely charged.

Victory was close at hand, only that grasping it was halted by the sudden eruption from the monster. It opened its mouth and let out a massive roar, more louder than earlier. Strong winds formed like hurricane blasting everything that was around the monster. Hadeen was blown away crashing into a tree. The charged spell of Fei was like a candle desperately flickering as she kept it from being extinguished. The monster knew where the danger was.

It locked it's eyes on Fei ready to pounce on her.

"Now!" shouted Cassian. A large basket of leaves fell onto the monsters head. Fei's eyes widened but without a moment's hesitation, she focused all her Goud in the ball of blaze in her palm.

One second. Only one second can a basket made of leaves give before the monster swatted it off it's face, but a second was everything Fei needed.

"The Embers in the hearts of the living,

burn my enemies' flesh,

and rest their ashes,

in the Everlasting's embrace"

A large blaze of fire erupted like a volcano from Fei's staff. The fire engulfed the monster, burning through its thick skin in a matter of seconds. No roar or groan in pain, just silence and crisp sound of wood burning

The monster, who was once tall and frightening, was left only its lower body. The roars that terrorized the forrest was comforted by the silence that followed.

Elio, could not form a single question in his mind but all he knows is the large pumping of his heart and shivering of his body. He stood there like a statue yet his eyes were so full of life. A curious soul trapped inside a stone body, unable to move even an inch. 'T-This is what fantasy is like'

Lila lost the strength in her legs to even stand up. She let out an exasperated sigh of both joy and relief. Her hand trembled still, the image of the monster still vivid in her mind. She clasped her hands, trying to stop the trembling, trying not to notice the smell of burned flesh. "What... what is happening right now?"

Tears started flowing from her face. Soft wimpers was muffled as she tightly closed her mouth. She wiped of her tears but there's no end to it flowing. She shut her eyes tightly, but there were no end to them flowing. A soft pink cloth smudged across her cheeks.

"Cassy..."

"Its going to be okay. We're pretty much alive, no?" Cassian handed the handkerchief and stood up. He placed his hands on Elio's shoulders and shook him gently.

"Well, as much as it would be cool to be statues with you Elio, we got to keep moving."

Elio snapped and turned his head to the side. "Ca--I, huh?"

Cassian offered his hand out for Lila. Her eyes landed on Cassian's, and a smile formed from her lips. Her swelling eyes softened as she took his hand. However, despite the effort, her legs continued to wobble. "Damn, Elio, support Lila for a bit. I'll handle our knight in shining armor here."

Elio was still not steady with his wits, and even his footing.

"Wait, Cass-"

Cassian then supported Lila close to Elio before letting go. As Lila leaned on Elio, he could feel the sudden weight tilt them.

"Elio! Elio! Wait, wait, wait, wait--" Lila kept trying to balance herself, yet the more she forced to balance herself, the more she felt like falling.

"CA-CASSIAN!!!" Elio reached out his hand to Cassian in a desperate attempt for help.

"huh?"

With Cassian focused on how he was going to carry the knight, was slow to react to Elio's plea. He rushed over and gripped Elio's hand and Lila's shoulder, but carrying the weight of two people over was not in the capabilities of his muscle to do smoothly. After a few moments of tug of war with gravity, they managed to stabilize themselves.

Fei looking over the three was giggling.

"Ahahaha, what a bunch of rowdy kids"

Hadeen gruntingly walked over to her side.

"Hadeen! You're much durable than they say."

"I'm not made of glass unlike you Fei. *grunts* Damn, my back hurts. Am I getting old?..."

Hadeen looked at the three. "Guess we owe our lives to those kids."

Fei let out another chuckle. "Indeed~"
