The crowd was wild as Alden scanned it with a calm gaze. Kyun had long since flown away, saying she was going to find Amyra.
Nyx tugged at his shirt, and he turned toward her.
She was pointing towards the waiting room, saying something, but the sound of the crowd within the arena was too loud for him to hear what she was saying.
"Let's go to the waiting room. Amyra said she will be waiting there."
Although Alden still couldn't hear her properly, the movement of her lips was enough for him to understand.
"Alright, let's go."
He replied with a nod, doubting whether she could even hear him either.
But she understood and followed after him as they walked across the vast arena, under the gaze of hundreds of thousands, toward the waiting room built on the other side.
People kept cheering for Nyx, while some booed Alden.
