Despite Veena's childish tantrum and constant refusal regarding their living arrangement, Jess easily restrained her and dragged her away, following Nubia toward the front door.
"Please let me go, Jess-senpai," Veena pleaded, resorting to looking at Jess with teary eyes.
"Vee..."
Seeing Veena in tears, Jess couldn't help but feel guilty about excluding her from her plan later that night.
It wouldn't hurt to let Vee join us, Jess thought, but before she could say anything to console Veena, Nubia interrupted, scolding Veena once more.
"Haven't you already had enough intimacy with Jeff in the past two weeks, Veena?" Nubia muttered, pinching Veena's cheeks and stretching them apart.
"Didn't I tell you to hold back a little?" she added, glaring at Jeff, who was standing behind Jess.
