"Now, those teams that managed to obtain the Lunar Purity Bloom should move to the right wing. As for the teams that failed, move to the left," Archon Alzareth instructed.
Immediately, the candidates began to separate accordingly.
After that, Alzareth signaled Lady Clare from the Glacien Hollow Academy to step forward.
She moved with a calm, refined grace.
Her jade-white skin reflected softly under the sunlight, and her blonde hair, tied neatly in a ponytail, swayed slightly as she came to a stop.
"Those of you who obtained the Lunar Purity Bloom have been given a rare opportunity," she began.
"As I mentioned earlier, it can increase your magical affinity and may even help you awaken a unique ability."
She continued…
"I will assist you in integrating its magical essence into your core. Sit down, focus, and try to sense the nen within the Lunar Purity Bloom."
At her instruction, those who possessed the bloom quickly sat down.
The rest watched.
Some with curiosity.
Some with envy.
Others, like Davi, remained completely indifferent.
Soon, the Lunar Purity Blooms began to disintegrate into fine granular particles, gently floating and circulating around each candidate.
As the particles merged into their bodies, their expressions shifted.
They could feel it.
Their connection to nen became clearer… deeper… more refined.
Many began to gain new insights into their elemental affinities.
The process lasted for about thirty minutes before the last traces of the bloom completely faded.
Murmurs spread across the crowd.
"Seems like no one awakened a unique ability…" someone whispered.
Even so, those who had obtained the bloom… especially Russell and the others, were visibly excited.
While no one awakened a new ability, their control over nen had undeniably improved.
Most had advanced by at least one level, while a few exceptional candidates improved by two.
Once the noise settled, Archon Alzareth stepped forward again.
"These are the final results after all three stages of the exam."
He glanced across the crowd.
"Out of 12,000 remaining candidates which is already impressive, approximately 7,000 managed to obtain a Lunar Purity Bloom."
He paused briefly.
"And now… it is time to recruit talents."
As he said this, his gaze shifted toward Davi.
However…
Grandmaster Dufus stepped forward before him.
"Young lad," Dufus called out, "why not join a Knight Academy?"
Davi frowned slightly.
"A Knight Academy?"
Dufus laughed.
"It seems you're not familiar with how things work. Let me explain it clearly."
He folded his arms.
"This world does not revolve around magic alone. There are martial paths as well… true martial arts."
His tone became more serious.
"The way you use nen right now is crude. You rely on instinct and force, not technique."
He pointed slightly toward Davi.
"That kind of usage… is closer to the path of knights as we focus on the body not necessarily control of nen alone".
He continued,
"At a Knight Academy, we will refine that. We will teach you how to integrate martial arts into your nen, turning it into something precise, controlled, and lethal."
A brief pause.
"And remember this, knights can eventually become mages… but not all mages can walk the path of a knight."
He smiled.
"If you go to a magic academy as you are now, you might just waste your potential."
Before Davi could respond, Grandmaster Halver snorted coldly.
"Don't listen to him," he said. "You possess a rare beast-taming attribute."
His gaze sharpened slightly.
"You've only contracted one beast, yet you've already shown impressive compatibility. Imagine what you could achieve with more."
He spread his hand slightly.
"At the Azure Claw Sanctum, we can help you build a legion of beasts under your command."
He added with confidence,
"In the entire Eastern Continent, known for beast taming… we are ranked among the top ten. Our resources are more than enough to support your growth."
At that moment, Lady Stacy's expression turned slightly cold.
Davi was the one she wanted.
Blind? That is irrelevant.
An ability that can devour nen… that is unheard of.
I must secure him.
She stepped forward.
"Davi L. Vermillion," she said calmly.
"Your abilities have greatly surprised me… especially your devouring capability."
She glanced briefly at Dufus and Halver before continuing,
"Choosing only one path at this stage will limit you."
A pause.
"Why not come with me… as an apprentice of the International Council of Mages?"
Her voice remained steady.
"Do not underestimate this offer. The Council does not only consist of mages… we also have knights and top beast tamers."
She looked directly at him.
"Your talent requires access to all paths. Only then can it truly flourish."
Davi was stunned.
He hadn't expected this level of attention not long after his transmigration.
This however worked to his interest.
Around him, many candidates looked on with envy. Being personally invited by grandmasters and top-tier institutions was something most could only dream of.
Old Man Frank's expression darkened slightly.
Russell, on the other hand, felt nothing but excitement for his brother.
As for the other academies, most of them had already withdrawn their interest. Competing with such offers was pointless.
Even Archon Alzareth remained silent. He had intended to extend a similar invitation, but since Lady Stacy had already done so, there was no need to repeat it.
Meanwhile, Davi was deep in thought.
To him, the decision wasn't simple.
Yes, he had the system, but he can't only really on it plus things had changed.
He now had Gravilis.
And more importantly… This world was clearly far more complex than it appeared on the surface.
Different continents.
Different specializations.
Different power systems.
Martial paths. Magic. Beast taming.
"This world's geography… it's not simple at all," he thought getting excited.
"If I choose wrongly, I might limit myself without even realizing it."
At the same time, Dufus' words lingered in his mind.
His way of using nen was crude.
That much… was true… I am a cultivator.
If he followed the martial path, it would give him a natural cover to grow stronger without attracting too much suspicion.
The Council offered everything.
After a moment of consideration, Davi made his decision.
"I would like to join the International Council of Mages…" he said.
Lady Stacy smiled faintly.
Archon Draith and Alzareth both showed approval.
Normally, once someone reached the rank of Magic Archon, they would automatically be registered within the Council.
However, rare geniuses like Lady Stacy herself were exceptions.
The Council also had a secret recruitment system for individuals with rare abilities, though they made up less than 0.1% of its members.
And now, Davi had become one of them.
Grandmaster Dufus sighed, his expression slightly disappointed, though he had expected this outcome the moment Lady Stacy spoke.
Soon after, the other academies began extending offers to the remaining candidates.
Lady Clare approached Russell with a gentle smile.
"Why not join the Glacien Hollow Academy in the Northern Continent? We specialize in healing magic and are ranked among the top ten academies there."
She added,
"And don't assume healers cannot fight. We have specialized training to improve combat capability as well."
Russell nodded eagerly.
Compared to what he expected before the exam, this was far beyond anything he had imagined.
At best, he thought he might be recruited by a low-tier academy or a guild that handled dungeon hunts or escort missions.
But now…
A top academy from the Northern Continent was offering him a place all due to the birth of a treasure?
There was no reason to refuse.
Priscilla also chose the Glacien Hollow Academy, as her elemental affinity… a variant of water, ice… aligned perfectly with it.
At the same time, her personal objective made it more reasonable to stay close to Russell.
Russell smiled slightly at her decision.
Nimue and her Shadow fox joined the International Council of Mages as well, her dark elemental affinity making her a rare and valuable candidate.
Loken and his Mist Scorpion joined the Azure Claw Sanctum.
Daniel joined the Obsidian Thorn Academy, which specialized in weapon forging and blacksmithing perfectly suited for his earth attribute.
Toffle surprised many by joining a Knight Academy despite possessing a rare iron-based elemental affinity.
"Seems like he isn't as simple as he looks," Russell thought.
Gerald chose the Craynwood Institute in the Southern Continent, an academy that specialized in war strategy.
Given his background as a former Red Rock mercenary, his choice came as no surprise.
Alyssia joined the Aetherveil Spire in the Central Continent, which specialized in magical formations.
This shocked many, as they expected her to pursue beast taming after initially contracting two beasts before losing one due to Nimue due to an anomaly.
As for Neri and Rita, the two had grown close during the exam and both chose to join the Craynwood Institute.
In total, about three thousand candidates were rejected by the academies.
Among all those recruited, the most outstanding talents were undoubtedly Davi and Nimue… both selected by the International Council of Mages.
Many believed that the Blue Sky Kingdom would rise significantly in the future, especially with talents like Alyssia emerging.
Soon, the recruitment process came to an end.
Finally, Archon Alzareth spoke once more.
"You have one day to say your farewells. Each Academy will depart the following day."
With that, he vanished.
Gradually, the crowd began to disperse.
