When Selene Wilson said this over the phone, Chloe Simpson became even more suspicious.
"Miss Wilson, don't forget you promised to help me investigate my mom's situation." Chloe emphasized once again.
"Don't worry, I will definitely help you get to the bottom of it." Selene responded firmly.
"There's got to be a timeline, right? If you take a year or two to figure this out, should I keep maneuvering between Lucas Hughes and Alexander Johnson for one or two years?" Chloe retorted.
"Haha, how could that be? Even with the Wilson Family's influence, it won't take that long. Rest assured, at most one month. If I don't find anything by then, you can automatically withdraw."
"If you don't trust me, you can record what I say now, and I won't let you do all this for nothing. I'll give you a blank check; you can write any amount you want."
Selene laughed, gave a specific timeframe, and even added a blank check.
