Ami looked at the unconscious Su Chen. Though anxiety flickered in her eyes, there was not the slightest expression on her face.
The once naïve Ami had grown up.
"Chief, we don't have much food left. If we can't hunt some more soon, I'm afraid the women, children, and elderly of the tribe won't be able to hold on." A sturdy figure stood not far behind Ami and spoke.
"I know." Ami said calmly.
"This man…"
"You don't need to worry about him. For now I am still the head of this tribe!" Ami snapped sharply.
Seeing this, the sturdy figure fell silent.
This place was actually not the same island where Su Chen and the others had crashed in the plane accident.
As for how Ami and the others ended up here, that was a twist of fate.
Wanting to leave this place, however, was far more difficult than they had imagined.
