Chapter 1 - Lost Memories

My breath started to shake. My lips began to quiver. I clutched my stomach there was no doubt in my mind something horrible was happening to me. The blood started to seep faster I tried to push back the blood back with my remaining strength yet it still the warm liquid still escaped my body. "God dammit ALLLLLL!" I thought my heartbeat barely clinging on but its efforts were futile.

"HELP! My body feels cold! I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die! I'm gonna DIE!" But my words were left unheard,

"I'm gon…" my voice finally died and an eerie calm came over me. As I recalled how I got into this shit.

Thud! Thud! Thud! My door was being banged on. Each sound louder than the last. I immediately banged on my wall trying to see if it was 'perfect' older brother who was always had to prove a point or be better than me in anything all the attention went to him not that I cared.

Smash! The doors was snapped off its hinges. The light had burnt the insides of my eyes. As they beginning to adjust to the light I had realised all my siblings were in black attire, my sister in particular was wearing a black veil which had masked her face I could still make out a pained expression through it.

"What's with the black suits and dresses and what's with those faces. You're acting like you've been to a funeral." I laughed but my brother's face showed malice I've never seen before.

"That's because we were," He stopped sentence his face darkened even further,

"It was dad's." My brother said barely managing to get those words out.

"And so what," I whispered my vocal cords strained as I was rummaging through trashy room looking for an unopened crisp packet.

Unable to hold his anger any longer my brother had lunged at me. And as he was on top of me, my elder sister looked with shock as she looked at my computer screen right next to the brawl with my brother.

"Is this what you've been doing when we were cremating ou…" her sentence was caught in her throat.

My brother already leaving me with a forming black eye and might've broken some ribs had the strength to look over his shoulder. The look on his face went from unbridled rage to slow transformation of shock, disbelief and disgust at my indifference and lack of empathy.

"You, absolute waste of fucking space. What do you think you're doing." My brother said as he struggled to lift me (I'm around 145kg on a good day) and kicked me out of his house.

At this point, I had already been beaten black and blue. My computer was absolutely smashed to pieces. And I had just been kicked out of my brother's house which I had been living in. As it began to rain, it dawned on me.

I had nothing to my nothing to my name, not a single dime.

It's not my fault my brother caught me at me at the wrong time. I began to walk the streets as the rain kept hammering down on me. When on the streets I saw three kids two boys and one girl. And looking at their uniforms they were around high school students."

"A love triangle I see." I said as I took a deep sigh,

They seemed to be having a lovers quarrel so much so they didn't see the upcoming truck. "Hey." I tried to call to them but my voice had been weakened and had also been drowned out by the truck.

I started to run fast so that I could call out to them but my momentum kept me from stopping so I kept so I switched plans I tried to move the kid out of danger but instead I swapped places with the first kid. The second boy saw the impeding truck and tried an attempt of shielding her.

"Ugh is this last thing I'll see before I die."

And then. SMASH! CRASH! The truck hit me dead on. I could feel lots of pain in stomach.

My eyes became heavier and heavier as the darkness began to swallow me whole.

And then suddenly, my eyes opened the place was unfamiliar. There was a fairly young man right in front of me and a woman as well they started to speak to me in unknown language. The man picked me up and as I reached out to him I realised my hands had become smaller and more pink. That's when I realised I had reincarnated, but the thing is I couldn't remember not a thing! Not even my own name. Who was I before? But just before my train could go on I heard another cry right beside me. And it looked like I had twin at the moment. The cries began to come out louder it was like it was piercing through my newly developed ear drums and as a desperate plea I reached out my hands further and further to reach and close her mouth. And the second that I touched her she had stopped. Tears still clinging to her face she had drifted to a deep sleep.

There has to be some sort of way to get my memories back I need to find them. But there's no way I would waste a second chance to get serious about living if my first was utter shambles.
