Noah had just finished bathing and was drying his body coming out of his bathroom, the towel slung low around his waist, steam still curling off his shoulders into the cooler air of the room.
He turned and nearly dropped the towel entirely.
Sophie was seated on the edge of his bed, legs crossed, watching him with the particular calm of someone who had been sitting there for a while and had no intention of announcing herself early.
"You should consider a shampoo ad," she said. "With hair like that. Genuinely. I'd buy whatever they were selling."
"How long have you been sitting there," Noah said, finishing the towel work on his hair with slightly more haste than before.
"Long enough to appreciate the view," Sophie said, deadpan. "Don't worry. I knocked. You just didn't hear me over the shower."
