The figure was indistinct, and its features were hidden, while its presence was unreadable.
Meanwhile, the blue-haired woman herself froze for a brief moment.
For the first time since her arrival in this place, a genuine expression of surprise appeared on her face.
Even the earlier discovery of the frost soul orchid's hollow nature had not elicited such a reaction from her, as that had only left her mildly annoyed, as if she had been deceived by something trivial.
But this was different and unexpected.
This was something she had not anticipated in the slightest.
Her eyes narrowed slightly as she focused her senses upon the coffin and attempted to peer through its transparent surface and identify the being resting within it.
But she failed, and no matter how she adjusted her perception, no matter how she refined her focus, she could not see through it clearly.
