Today, the construction of the Chasm Bridge was finally underway. Kong and the Engineer Red Mankeys went hard at work these past few days, making sure that their design was completely foolproof, and was something that could withstand even the greatest natural disasters in the world.
Of course, it wasn't just a simple bridge. It was basically an entire town all on its own.
Michael had to have some security in place here every single second of every day. So, it was appropriate to have some of his soldiers permanently housed here to make sure that it was taken care of.
Then, he also had to put in the gates. No, he wasn't planning on putting tolls to pass through these bridges. But he did need to make sure that they weren't here to make chaos in the bridge nor in the chasm. He needed to make sure that they weren't some people with evil intent.
