Max flew away from the broken castle.
The ruined structure quickly became smaller beneath him, its collapsed towers and cracked walls fading into the distance as he moved through the sky. The wind rushed past his body, and the little cursed eye near his left shoulder shifted slightly before settling again, its red-black pupil blinking as if it had also sensed the change in his aura after the Genesis Trial.
Max ignored it as usual. His mind was still on the Emotion Severing Path Chamber, the middle-aged man's warning, and the name of the Sword Saint.
