Ranar sat there for a while, confused. She had so many questions. Her father had always taught her to be kind to others, to protect the weak, and yet it turned out he didn't even believe in those ideals.
"Was Gunter right?" she asked. She just wanted the answer.
Damon shook his head slowly.
"No. He wasn't. Gunter was not right, but I can't say he was completely wrong either." He closed his eyes for a moment before speaking in a soft whisper. "In this world, there are no right or wrong answers. Everyone has their reasons. We judge others by their actions and ourselves by our intentions. People cheer for those they understand, for the perspective they can see, not necessarily for what is right."
He then took a deep breath.
