That wasn't all.
It had evolved.
Its structure had grown sharper, more jagged, more demonic in shape, and at its peak a growling ball of fire burned like a second sun, casting an ominous glow over the entire city.
More importantly, he had received a letter.
In three days' time, a priestess from the Snake Temple would arrive to personally escort him there to collect his reward.
Which was perfect.
They would finally locate the temple hidden from the world.
