He suddenly realized that this was the death of the Dragon of the Vaulted Sky. From now on, there would be no giant dragons soaring through the sky, and consequently, no Capital of The Vault. Alandia and the others had urgently evacuated all life from the city before the battle began, so the former citizens wouldn't perish because of this. But the city itself no longer existed; his apartment and his home disappeared after this battle, along with the memories of the past.
This was truly a battle of farewell with the past. Not only did he bury the Eternal Era, but he also personally buried the traces of his past ten years.
"It feels like the dissipation of youth," Gongsun Ce said softly, "Really doesn't leave a pleasant feeling to the very end."
