In the end Yue Fei subdued this giant serpent, but who could have imagined that the serpent would transform on the spot into an eight-foot golden spear, with four big characters inscribed on it: "Liquan Divine Spear."
Afterwards this spear followed General Yue through campaigns north and south, blocking east and killing west, slaughtering the Jin people and making a name throughout the world, coming to be called the Number One Spear Under Heaven.
Later, at Fengbo Pavilion, General Yue fell, and the spear ended up in the hands of the treacherous Prime Minister Qin Hui; after Yue Fei was posthumously rehabilitated, the spear passed into the hands of the Yue family's fifth son, Yue Lin, and from then on this spear was always passed down among the Yue Family descendants.
